I love it, especially since Kobo has kinda struggled with English in the beginning. It's kind of uplifting.

@@tatsumigakill7347 Well it was mostly about confidence for her I think, but in the beginning, she streamed almost exclusively in Bahasa and when she was speaking English, it seemed to be more difficult for her to come up with words, as well as having poor grammar (though never to the point of being unintelligible). Her comprehension wasn't as good too (remember that famous Europe clip of her and Kiara), which also makes me think she simply had limited exposure to English in her daily life before Hololive. She still uses some weird phrases and grammar here and there, but not nearly as much an she used to.
@@tatsumigakill7347I think Kobo is very good at mimicking and memorizing things, but had trouble speaking spontaneously. That's why you can see her sometimes looking really fluent, but other times she's like a confused kid when talking about things that are out of her mastery.
I gotta admit, Kobo's logic has been my logic more than once when deciding to buy or not something.

Just going to add that it's a Source game too, and they're inherently cheap. Add the fact that it's one of Valve's old ones, and there's a chance it's going for less than a dollar.

Important bit of info here, turns out the 3rd anniversary of Myth was exactly the same time as Valve's 20th anniversary, that sale is specifically why CS Source was literally dirt cheap in this particular time.

Why would you need css to play gmod?
For certain maps it uses certain assets of css. Gmod is a mod, not a game. It uses half life 2 and css assets.
A ton of maps and stuff use Counter Strike models and textures. It’s a well known issue that without it, a lot of stuff is broken.
Adding onto the other answers. If you were crafty you could also download an asset pack that someone put together and drop it in the appropriate directory.
GMod is a mod that uses valve's source engine
sometimes, it needs hl2 or css assets since those two also runs on the source engine.

Kiara is just reassuring Kobo that she doesn't NEED to buy CS:S to play Gmod, thinking that she is being forced into buying an unrelated game. But then, Kobo mentions that it is 90%, meaning that she actually has an interest in buying the game now, instead of being forced too, so Kiara mentions that she can buy it then and play it later if that's the case.
That is like if you thought you need a certain brand of shoes to go to a party but your friends tell you that it is not required. But now that you saw the shoes of that brand, you actually started liking it and decided to buy one for personal use anyway.
This is too real to be a merely gimmick ...
