R.I.P. Tom Wilkinson. His Fennyman is superb and the true heart of the film, the brutal moneylender turned tender luvvie - no better proof necessary of the edifying effect of theatre. Better yet, it's exactly the kind of part Shakespeare himself would have played in one of his own plays. Much missed, some gift, fair play to ya Tom
Wilkinson (RIP) steals a scene from Rush. By design, of course, but it shows yet another level of Wilkinson’s greatness. The movies will miss him. I know I will.
"But I have to pay the actors an the author." "Share of the profit." "There never is any." "Off course not." "Mr. Fennyman, I think you might have hit on something." Yes, he is! He just invented Hollywood accounting.
It's funny thing. If Shakespeare in Love had not won the Oscar for Best Picture, but only say Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actress and one or two minor awards, people would remember it more fondly.
Rest in Peace Mr Wilkinson. Loved his performance and character arc in this

Tom Wilkinson steals every scene he's in
"This time, the boots are coming off!"
One of my favorite character actors.
Good night, sweet prince Wilkinson.
RIP December 2023
Yep. Stealing a scene from Geoffrey Rush is very very difficult too.

This scene is essentially a Monty Python sketch 😂
Pure genius. RIP Tom Wilkinson.
I see Barbossa here with the mustache and beard
TheSassMonster that's true
@TheSassMonster And Carmine Falcone.

Film looks so much better than digital.
Now that's interesting. So we've got Lord Cornwallis, Barbossa and that guy from bottom
Pirate King lol
If this movie was set in a modern time (21st century), there still won't be any changes. Loan sharks are the same throughout the years.
EPIC SCENE LOL
gracias por la tarea 7u7
Nice hot foot torture. Once those boots get hot those feet cook.
