Since Acidic doesn't have the base species' fireballs, he has to up his sword game. Luckily, his tail remains sharp due to the natural acid secretions on the tail, meaning he doesn't need to coat it with metal. This makes it lighter and easier to swing around.
I love the stance he seems to take every time he fights. And why every now and then he seems to have a seizure, is it because he isn't perfectly adapted to the miasma yet?
You should try using the circle triangle circle triangle infinite combo. Its pretty quick and easy allowing you to always be ready for the counter. Leading with a stab is much safer than the sluggish overhead swing.
I was pretty disappointed that Tigrex vs Acidic was pretty much the same as with Banbaro and Fulgur Anja, use your tail dammit. Well, whatever love the game

Less physically strong but a lot more accurate. Instead of slamming its tail around like the normal Glavenus does, Acidic Glavenus tends to always make clean cuts and to slice the prey or victim with precision. The cutscene is a clear example of it.
it's objectively the best subspecie in all of mh along with coral pukei and fulgur anja. Each of those 3 completely change the figth compared to their normal version

Idk why he's still using divine slasher? Easiest rank 10 ls to get is Kulus, already has 825 raw and +25 affinity for its base stats lol, all you need is like MR2 or 3 to get it
Acidic glavenus, whe he cleans his tail it becmes sharp, then afterwards it becomes acidic, the yellow stuff, he has to keep cleaning his tail, and the yellow suff causes debuffs on the player
all the Acidic Glavenus that we need to fight are probably male just like the normal ones (lore wise the only reason that Glavenus ever become a problem that needs to be hunted on quests is because the males get aggressive when mating. you might fight some females if you're just free hunting on expedition though) but they aren't technially a "subspecies". all Glavenus that we know of are born as the normal kind but some can become Acidic Glavenus as long as they fit 2 conditions. 1, they must be old and experienced. 2, they must have spent a long time in an environment with lots of acidic compounds. if both of these conditions are met then a normal Glavenus can become an acidic one.
I dont understand why the monsters health gotta be so long like i think that glavenus health is like 19,000 and that takes a while and why dont they add a health bar
It's health is over 19.000 because it's a MR monster and it's supposed to be hard. About the health bar, Capcom once said that they'll never add a monster health bar because it would take away that sense of relief when you see the monster's limping and because the lack of it forces players to read the monsters' visual cues.

When you see acidic start shaking that's the sulfur spikes growing back on his tail they grow back in 2 r 3 stages

The Acidic Glavenus has a lighter tail than the normal Glavenus. Basically, Acidic Glav's Tail is a Katana while the normal one is a Greatsword.

Get a health boost amulet and upgrade it. You don't *need* it but it's one of the best skills in the game.
