For the price, it legit makes no sense lol. B58 is completely soulless, whether it’s the sound, or even driving feel. There’s no way you can make a B58 “sound great”, especially, comparing it to the F8X & G8X platform, when you’re only limited to same modifications as a dude with an M240, 340, even X3 M40 lol. For example, I met a dude last night who bought a M340i “‘Limited Edition”, who was so proud that he spent 78k on a non-M car😂, when he could’ve easily gotten an M3, M4, M5, and even M8’s are under MSRP rn going for 85k max. It’s just not worth it unless you’re buying second-hand imo, but to each their own, you like what you like lol.
If the B58 or 440i feels like home to you , and gives you that feeling than an actual M-car would give you, then 100% go for it. I support you in your decision, and I’ll still continue to watch, because your content is distinct from other creators, who are milking the same content over and over. So, this is different, and that’s why I continue to watch you.
The F8X platform is really damn reliable, and I’m speaking from experience, and speaking for other owners. The interior is far from outdated, especially if you get the LCI’s with Apple CarPlay. The motors are indestructible, but idk why there’s such a misconception, when people are reaching 150k miles easily. The “crankhub issue” is such a myth, it was just a way to market products, unless you’re heavily mechanically modifying your car, then sure you should definitely upgrade your crankhub. If you’re not making RK-Tunes numbers, then there’s practically nothing to worry about.
