I just started watching your vlogs and love them. I am a caribbean girl that resides in usa. However, I travel often. In the past year I have visited ghana and nigeria. I will say without a doubt accra is better than lagos in my opinion. I had an amazing time in accra and the nightlife is amazing. We did road trips etc. Like every city, including lagos, there are good and bad parts. However lagos airport is one of the worst I have ever visited. Soon as you land, the money changers were ready to rob, but I checked them. They tried to collect bribe from us at the airport, but we were ready for them. I like lagos, but we didnt go anywhere alone. It was super intense and we didnt feel safe alone. In Ghana we caught ubers and went everywhere alone. We even walked to places. Everyone was so nice. It was much safer and cleaner. I absolutely love Accra, but I dont care to go back to lagos. Will be visiting abuja end of year and I hope that's better.
There are very nice parts of lagos, but there are areas that will leave you speechless in a bad way. That's all I will say. I went to banana island, stayed in Victoria island, visited lekki, visited makoko etc. Went all over the city. I enjoyed idiomata market, the kekes, and I love Nigerian food and music. However, Nigeria is not safe without a local. Those are facts.
Your friend should not have spoken ill of Accra. I love your videos regardless

Im here in new york and your vlogs are making me want to visit the motherland i want to visit naija and accra. I just find out what parts of africa my family is ancestrially from so i want to visit so bad. I used to be afraid to visit because our media here in the U.s. put so much bad things about the motherland on t.v. to discourage us but i want to visit africa now and not be afraid
