hi Tino, thank you so much. It's nice to be back and seeing you guys. I really appreciate your comment, as always. Take care of yourself and your family. See you soon
Hi James... great to see you back . Really great stuff ! Soundtracks are great and so atmospheric when played. John Williams is amazing ! So many classic scores . Looking forward to your upcoming videos. I like collecting soundtracks from the 80s. I’m always on the lookout for those. Thanks James. Chez
hi Chez, good to see you too. I also love 80's soundtracks. I have a few to show you in upcoming videos. Those were fun days and fun movies. Thanks as always for watching (and waiting) haha - James
Hi James, great to see you again, John Williams is probably my favourite movie composer along with Jerry Goldsmith. Looking forward to part 2 take care Paul
VinylCollector James I don’t remember seeing them everywhere, but then again I wasn’t actively looking for them. I do remember seeing them in an area of one small record shop and thinking “WOW,what are these”! 😲👍💿
New sub here, great stuff I must say. Really enjoy collecting vinyl, especially soundtracks. I do have one John William's vinyl soundtrack I dont believe you mentioned, and that is The Fury. A little horror flick from I believe '78. Not a great movie but it's ok. I cherish my original trilogy Star Wars original pressings. However, I too am missing that pesky poster. Looking forward to future vids.
I could've sworn I commented on this video when it first dropped, but apparently not. I've always loved John Williams, but have recently had a "resurgence" in my appreciation for him (which should be rearing its head on my channel soon), so I had to come back and watch this. I do dearly miss your videos, and perhaps the inspiration will yet strike you again to continue on with this series. I hope you're doing well!
How nice to see you again! It's been a long time since I've heard from you (ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha). What can I say... I'm not a very big collector of soundtracks because I have to make my choice... "money" priority... but I know my classics. "Empire Strikes Back" the best of the first three without a doubt. Your French version of "Return..." made me laugh. Yes indeed it is the French version. Indiana Jones... I've never seen the cover of "Temple of Doom" and "Last Crusade". It's been years since I've had a copy of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" in the corner of my mind (wait and see). "Jaws, I think that movie's in my top five. Another one I'm gonna get one of these days. "Close Encounters of the Third Kind... I've only seen it twice. The first time 17 years ago... too much THC in my blood... it took me 17 years to think about seeing it again because my memory it was boring... but I watched it a few months ago and I liked it a lot (no THC included). "ET"... I've never been able to watch this movie without crying... I've only seen it twice between 8yo and 20yo haha. And I don't think I have the strength to watch it again. "The Color Purple" I've never seen it (and I have no memory of its title in French when it came out). I add a post-it on my desk. Superman... wow, superb gatefold. "Tintin" great movie (amazing work)... Tintin is popular all over Europe (especially in France for sure) but originally from Belgium (author and illustrator - Hergé). The first cartoon versions were and are my favorite... so many memories. I have all (or almost all) the comics "originals" versions. "LaserDisc" haha we also had them in France ! Yes, you're right, the success was not the right word because the players cost a kidney, but they were available (in fact I have a copy of "Braveheart" haha) "Lincoln"... I'd have to see that movie. "SevenYears..." great movie. "Home Alone" I didn't even know it was Sir Williams. (Mondo covers are always alterative but always fabulous ++++ I dream of having Mondo's "Back To the Future" trilogy. Fantastic!!!!!!!). (...) Lennon-McCartney quite like Williams/Spielberg ha ha! (...) It's been a pleasure, 25 minutes! Thank you, Sir James.
hey Paul! wow, epic comment! I probably can't touch on all of that, but I am with you on E.T. and crying, and good to get some detail on Tintin. It was new to me entirely but I fell in love after seeing this film. I wasn't entirely sure on Laserdiscs in Europe as I have heard people often there who've never seen them. Not a bad comparison to Lennon/McCartney really, they just belong together. Thanks a lot for your great comment, and I'm sure we will be talking again soon :) - James
@@VinylCollectorJames haha.... sometimes I like to take notes during the watching so I don't forget anything... which can give comments that may be a little too long.
Hi James so good to see you,
Any excuse is good. Lord knows we need some goodness and happiness and of course music.
God bless and keep well,
Tino

thank you Paul, it's nice to see you again here also
I’m looking forward to seeing more in this series. We did have laser discs here in the U.K,I remember seeing them in the early 90’s.🤔👍
Hey that’s good to know. I wonder why a few friends said they’d never seen them? Maybe they were just not popular there. Thanks for the comment
