- Digital art speedpaint featuring some new original characters. Lately I've been following a lot of pretty art and fashion blogs on tumblr and they've been giving me a lot of inspiration so I have that to thank!

I want to tell my story of why I think this is absolutely amazing...
When I was young I would have fully detailed dreams of a world that I could live in, the world looked like Anime but this was different... A world of hope, magic, life, love, sadness, anger, and dangers. It was a world for adventures and I could never remember any of it or who was in it, only bits and pieces....but that was years ago, today though I was wandering the Internet, when I saw this... and I watched it... by the end I reminded me of them, the people with full personalities and beautiful homes and lives that I could interact with... I started crying from the beginning to the end of this video, because I swear, those exact characters where there. In fact, they where the only people I could ever fully remember! Thank you for helping me recall this world... I can't wait to see more....

Five years later and it’s still true. I’m 20 now, but I absolutely love this speedpaint. This was re-recommended to me. I still lucid dream and have fun in dreams.

Make a new layer above your lineart layer. Just cover up the lines with your color of choice. Click the "clipping layer" checkbox and the color will all stay inside the lines c:

X3 paint tool SAI may seem a little difficult at first, but once you have it figured out for the most part, it's one of the easiest programs out there. I've been using it for over a year now and i have the basics down packed, but even i find new little surprises every time i use it.
Although, just because i know how to use a program doesn't mean i have skill like this XD but i wish i did.

the color is very water paint like and I really love it. I rarely get to see paintings this well colored I saw you made your shadows very light as well which blends in really well giving a very fitting fell. I'm just wondering, how long did it take you to make this?

At around 9 minutes (I think) There was a little doodle of a mustache and goatee and glasses on one of the characters. It made me laugh. I think if you rewind and watch from around 8:50 to 9:05 you'll see it flash on and off.
I seriously don't understand that magic coloring over craziness that all Sai artists seem to know. Like, I figure it must have something to do with layers and possibly special tools, but I'm honestly lost. Is it because I use Firealpaca? Will the stuff here not work there? I'm so confused.

Then i finally downloaded SAI and I kept trying and trying but failed DX
Then i ran across tutorials that kind of helped.
But now i can color like a pro on sai
Layers and Layers and lots of opacity locking, but it's all worth the time ^w^ highly recommend downloading paint tool SAI. Happy drawing my friend!

All the messy stuff is on a different layer. Use clipping layer and it will all disappear outside the lines!

How do you color outside the lines, and then have them dissapear like that :O Its like magic! I seriouslt spend about half an hour trying to erase everything that I paint -_-'
