Awesome London, I'm proud of you! 17 days sober! I immediately donated to your GoFundMe. You're lucky to have Hanna. Keep up the good work, I watch all your videos.
Proud of you. Sounds weird coming from some middle aged woman you’ve never heard of I’m sure. But you are genuine and kind and I hope only good things for you. I donated and hope others will too. Best my dude
Nah, I appreciate any and all pride people take in whatever I do. Bit weird to be about alcoholism, though. That's not normally the thing people get proud of on this channel! But I'll take it! And thanks for the support!
Good work 17 days not drinking is a good start i struggle as well the longest I ever went was a couple months hopefully you can go longer than I did I'm rooting for you
Sucks about the broken computer (Apple suck when it comes to being fixable) but I’m super stoked to hear about you not drinking. Wishing you all the best going forward. And definitely looking forward to more content.
Keep on going. I spent about 25 years drinking and will be 2 years sober this October 6th. It was bad at the end I knew I had to get my life back in control or something terrible was bound to happen. I tried AA but it wasn't for me due to the religious part since I had also just left the JWs and the group dynamics were very cultish. So anyway I had to use all the bullshit feelings and anger that I would try to drink away to drive myself to change and seek solutions. I replaced my drinking time with going to the gym and doing heavy cardio on the ARC Trainer machine then do my weight circuit. I lost 75 lbs, lost my depression and got my life back together. Use it to drive yourself.
Describing the easy fix getting more and more complicated, I just pictured it at the end of just a computer just spread out in pieces and a confused face. As for drinking, as someone who has been there (I'm a decade sober now), at the start take it each day as it comes, just remember, you didn't drink yesterday, you can also not drink today, if you didn't drink in the last week then you can not have a drink today. It's slow at first and that is the struggle, keep track of the small milestones and acknowledge your achievements l. Even if it's going a whole day, a few days, a week, two week, a month, two months, etc. That and remembering why yiu don't want to drink are probably the best two bits of advice i can give. Also be comfortable seeking help from loved ones when you're struggling (I've literally had friends stay round all night playing videogames cause I've had stuff happen which almost made me drink again). Also when I quit i made a point of going to pubs and bars with friends, as i wanted to be comfortable around drink, i can know be in a pub w8th people who are drinking and not be tempted, it takes a while but in the long run it's a better approach then just trying to avoid it.
Once I got past the anxiety of not drinking, and the cravings, my desire to drink just dropped off a cliff. I hate the taste. I hate what I do on it. I hate it. I really do. Chess, I've noticed, also helps a lot. I think getting SSRIs to help add some space between my traumas and my drinking was the real change.
Good to hear you are staying off the Alcohol. After 17 days or so and you're still off means it's out of your system, do as long as you keep it away, You will be good.
Having lost several friends to alcohol and watched others struggle out of its grasp, I can tell you that 17 days is great. There will be easy days and tough days ahead. Having an understanding spouse could well be your best asset at this point. Listen to her. Just sit down, shut the hell up and listen to her.
Looking forward to more content, especially the "facilitated" communications. Good luck on stopping the alcohol. My vice is menthol cigarettes. 😢 I gave a few bucks to the GoFundMe. I assumed your wife will control the money! No booze, please. ❤Be well. 17 days dry is fantastic.
I feel absolutely no desire whatsoever to drink. All money goes to my wife because she's the one that shelled out for the computer. I also switched from cigarettes to vapes, which is kinda cool. All the nicotine and the cool lung feelings but not as much risk!
You can do it, and if you feel like you need help there are secular fact based places to go. Also there is Naltrexone which can medically help avoid the desire and effects of drinking.
I would politely request that you not call people "schizo." You know full well why it's problematic, I'm sure it just slipped out without thinking. Anyways, if my own bank account weren't already in the negative, I'd love to help out. Here's hoping things turn around quickly when that new computer shows up!
Dude drop the woke propaganda. remember, sticks and stones may break your bones, but words aren't real and don't literally break your bones, so don't cry like they literally broke your bones. it's okay to use terminology that everybody universally knows in order to explain a certain perspective. only the alphabet community can't handle labels, ironically making a ton of pretend labels for themselves at the same time if you're an adult act like one please.
Of course being sober for 17 days is an accomplishment! Anyways, make sure to back your shit up next time so you can recover your files even after your computer breaks. By the way, I discovered this channel because you posted on r/neoliberal. Is you wife aware that she's inevitably going to leave you?
Well I'm sorry about your computer but more importantly I want to congratulate you on your milestone! It took a lot of courage to come on here and share that. I used to be the same way man, talking about it helps. Staying away from friends that drink a lot helps too. I was also fortunate to have my partner now for 18 years. I went from craving it to now if I smell alcohol it makes me ill, especially beer. I haven't been drunk in 10 years the last drink I had was when my grandparents passed in 2020, and that was just a single beer with my dad, that I didn't finish lol. Take care and I hope you don't get in trouble with the wife for using her PC LOL.
Congratulations on the sobriety keep up the good work
Broken computers suck, so here's me sticking it to the ghost of Steve Jobs.
Keep on staying sober. It's been 21 years for me. If I can do it, so can you. Keep on keeping on.
I'm hoping for the best and doing my best. Congratulations on 21 years! Hope I can get there!

I'm so happy for you London. You're worth it man

Keep on keepin’ on.
Well done on the soberness. Keep it up. I also hate apple.

Congrats on 17 days 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations. These things aren't easy to overcome and even one day of sobriety is something to be proud of.
Don't sell yourself short. 17 days is awesome. Just focus on 18 and keep at it!
man these cults always turn into asking for money.
join the cult, brother
@@danger.snakes I'm the one who started calling you Creator bud, I am the cult.
I'm sharing and prodding folks to try and refund the Creator.

That's certainly the hope. My desire for it has definitely fallen off.
Congratulations bro
Thanks homie
17 days is great progress! I threw a few bucks to the cause
Thanks for that, my friend!
For some Large Nicholas in the future.

How could I ever forget? Nice to see you're still out there. Hail Synthwave Alcoholic Christ
Half a bot of whiskey a day isn't bad - but yes it's pricey where you arex

Why would you tell someone, especially someone having a tough time, that his wife would leave him?? WTF? You don't know her? Or him! Jerk.
@@paullucas6019 It's just a meme lol. People on r/neoliberal like to say "my wife left me."
This is SAD.
I predict that this guy will eventually go Trans (nothing wrong with that) and then he will divorce his wife.
Also, he sounds drunk in this video.
Why do you think he'll go trans?
Not that there's anything wrong with that
You must’ve failed to notice my pronouns are they/them on this channel
As for being drunk, nah. I never did videos drunk. Only livestreams.
@@InvisibleJesus1919 He's already trans lmao
