Love this style of video. No montages or fancy cut editing. Just two guys crawling some tiny rigs. Making me wanna go get one just to try and crawl all the way up my town's creek!
Thanks brother. We appreciate the visit and comments. Man, if you end up getting one. I promise you'll love it. The only question is witch one. There are now 3 versions. The new TRX4m is a high trail Chevy Silverado. Almost scream, Take me to that creek!
@makeitwork583 Thank you. We're glad you enjoyed it. We certainly do have fun on that trail. We have had a bunch of changes over the summer with the rain wrecking parts of the trails. The good side of that is a new set of challenges. And some new content that will come from it. You're correct it is perfect terrain for 24 scale rigs. Trail 1 will always be for them. I'm just glad it won't be the same every time we hit it. Thanks again I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Have a nice day.
Wow, thank you. We want to bring some fun and enjoyment to the hobby. Not just another channel pushing sales. Life is an adventure. let's go! Thank you for the compliment brother. It gives us motivation.
Hi and Thank you for the compliment. These little rigs are a ton of fun. Im sure you will have a blast. Which one though. Now there is a high trail version. Happy trails brother.
@jonathanmcdonald5411 yes indeed the Bronco is balanced better. As for upgrades. My first would be low range gears for the transmission and a set of wheels and tires. Them two upgrades were the most noticeable improvements. If you want to put on really big tires, like the swamp kings, it will need some modifications. To the body. I have a video on that. Trimming and shimming for big tires. Have a good day brother.
@@usssoupership thanks for the info. I kinda wanna keep the body intact, if I can, so I'll have to figure out the best tire and wheel combo to use without trimming the body. @jonathanmcdonald5411 Thanks, buddy. we appreciate the kind words, and you are absolutely right. It should be about the fun. there are plenty of excellent tires that fit with no modding. It's really about flavor and what you like. Have fun brother and enjoy the day.

What gear set is in the green Defender? I'm running the stock trail gear set for walking and am thinking about getting a trailer for it. Great video BTW. That stream makes a great setting compared to my mud puddles,
Hi, thank you for the comment. The gears we're running in the green defender are the low range gear set for crawling. The part number is 9776R. Avaliable From Traxxas or local hobby shop. Stock differential gears. It is a bit slow. But much smoother. Stock gear should pull the trailer just fine. Unless you really load it down or encounter some large obstacles. The gears are only 6 dollars. I'd go ahead and pick them up when you get the trailer. Just in case you need them.
Great video, like others have said its refreshing to see a nice trail run with no yelling. I'm thinking of grabbing one of these and have been for a while, what brand of low gear transmission and wheel set do you prefer? And where'd you guys get all the sick cosmetic items?

Like the mofo rc and flubber stuffers. There is a sticker set from firebrandrc where the little destination decals came from. I picked them up at a hobby shop in Indiana. But they quit carrying them. You might find them on the web. Firebrand rc is the name on the label. I hope this helps. Thank you for the visit.
Hi, not foam, but 3d printed inserts. I got them from flubrc. They are called flubber stuffers and are amazing at least. You must see them. Has to be a video. They have a website. FlubRc. They actually do work. My sons defender couldn't do the things mine did until he put them in his wheels. The sidewall support makes it happen. We are running weights in the wheels, and the tires are vented.
Thank you. I appreciate the comments. The motor is stock. The smoothness is due to the low range gears in the transmission. It killed the wheel speed. That's the sacrifice. A brushless system would be nice.
