Nicely done. I have the APP & ACP presses. Didn't know this existed. Makes sense to combine both. The ACP has longer solid guide rods, the APP has smaller hollow tubes with bolts running through them. The APP primes pretty well really, really its all it does. Looks like this system uses the 6000 priming system.
Thanks for sharing I can see primers sideways and upside down lee needs to redesign the primer tray besides that it’s working good 👍👍 way better than the acp original design
First time I have seen this upgrade kit. I love my APP for depriming. The ACP I guess I'm lucky I didn't throw it away. The crushing the primers was just too much for me. I even got a new plastic feed and it was still having problems. I see you had one crushed one in the short time you demo'd it. How do you like it now that you have had it a while? I'm not going to bother buying the upgrade til I see that it works consistently.
I haven't had any major problems with it its my " go to " press for priming I found out if you go slow and easy it does the job as intended I record all my videos raw with no editing so you see if something happen such as a primer problem I'm glad I could get the video out there so people are aware of this kit such as yourself thanks for watching!
I purchased this kit after seeing Your video. Just got it and the primer primer insert does not sit flush with the rail no matter what I do. Install went without a hitch, I cannot see anything in the manual. Please, how did You install the primer body, spring and primer insert? Just popped it in?
Eff me!!! I looked at it 50 times, i pulled and pushed. The issue? I didn't push hard enough... was afraid something would break. This is my nordic upper all over again. THANK YOU.
@@reloader523 After testing it and priming 150 9mm cases, I can say this was not worth it. A lot of times primers did not slide from the chute, they just hung at the end, but not far enough so the "pusher" would catch them. I had to really violently shake the whole assembly to dislodge it and that was not always successful. Primer tray and chute were full btw, And about 25 cases had the primer set too shallow. No idea how's that possible, as You cannot set the seating depth manually. I was extra careful not to short stroke either way. In theory it should be better then the old system with that fiddly little spring on the primer chute, but if this keeps on happening, I'll just de-prime on this and prime on the progressive press. Either way, I feel like this was a waste of 45e.
@Duwurf that's the first complaint I've heard on this update if I may make a few suggestions as far as primer depth is your primer spring installed over the correct primer insert ( pg.2 #2 instructions) and ( #3 ) ( #4 ) verify lock is open and ( #7 ) very important maybe back track your installation hope this helps thanks for watching!
i been using this for 2 yrs now, especially for decapping my mil crimp 556. HINT: purchase a mighty armory decapper- no pins will break 100% garuntee, even punches through boxer . also, if u CALL LEE and take a PICTURE of ur base model, they will send you an upgraded DELUX model for 50 % off!
@@reloader523 Thank you for your reply. I already have the handle which is in the kit. Is it possible to have the parts without the handle? If possible, what are the part numbers to purchase? In your opinion, the primer system is better on the pro 6000 or on acp deluxe?
@@reloader523 I have the handle 90629 but there is the same in the kit upgrade acp to deluxe (92046). So, is it possible to buy only the different parts of the kit but with any handle.
The APP press was made for debulging sizing and depriming and had no way to prime the ACP upgrade kit is installed on the APP press so you can prime cases
@jonleone777 after reviewing my video at the beginning I said how to turn your ACP into a priming station I should have said how to turn your APP press into a priming station that's totally my bad and thank you for catching that! I hope you have a great New Year and thanks for watching Be Safe!
But the ACP is problematic with it's priming system, I've not been able to get mine working well since purchasing it even after Lee sent me replacement parts for it, that could certainly explain why they have discontinued it.
Ok thank you. Happy Christmas for you , your family and your friends. Little friendly smile from France…

Yes it does have similarities to the Pro 6000 and works quite well LEE seems to put springs to good use thanks for watching!

Pop the plastic switch out of the primer tray and file it down on the bottom edges and dedicate that tray to large primers.

Is it possible to install thé kit on my « old » Lee app or il’s only for acp ?
Yes you can use this on the APP press its really easy to make this upgrade just follow instructions that come with the kit

How did you get this kit? I've looked on the Lee site as well as the distributers and found nothing.
