What happend
It was probably his dog that got fed up of sitting around guarding his other rucksack full of water, beer and snacks.
Strange how he went the entire day running around in the heat and didn't need water despite reminding us that he nearly died of dehydration in that exact area once before.
Complaceny creeping in.

There's a 24 hour supermarket at the top of the cliff so drinking water wasn't an issue

If anyone wants to know what killed Matt in the episode... Legend has it that cave houses multiple ghost fish from previous content that field days created. Matt now spends most his time amongst other survival TH-cam's inside the belly of a giant tuna. My mates cousins nephew told me! The man never lies!

Field Days. I just want to let you know you are by far my favorite survival TH-camr. I have learned a lot from this channel, and I intend to survive the land for a day or two when I reach a certain age. Thanks for being a amazing creator!
I started doing solo survival at 16, you got this. Always bring a big weapon for emergencies if you’re going in the woods. machetes work well, cross bows are also great if you’re not able to/don’t know how to handle a firearm. Stay strapped or get clapped. Nature does not fuck around.

Your excitement when you catch a fish is the best. I've been fishing lots of times, but never caught a fish myself. I imagine I'd be just as ecstatic, but you seem to have that excitement every time you catch something. That's awesome. Love your videos man.

Lots of comments about you "finally" doing another survival mission. To me, doesn't matter. I like these, Q and A, fishing on a boat with a mate or Mack 10, the shorter missions, or whatever else you put out! All are great and welcome! The variety keeps me coming back!

This brings back memories... Here in New Zealand I grew up catching small Rock fish like that... on very small hooks....Parrot fish and a rock fish called Pakati.
We would gut them, scale them and cook them on the end of a sharp stick.
Then you use the stick to stake any Taniwha that tried to nek up on ya in the nite.....
Me too, except I grew up in Mozambique. Catching fish every morning until the church bell rang at noon… except the weekend, to feed my native friends. Bamboo stick, line, piece of cork and a hook, catching dozens.
