I'd like to thank each and every one of you who take the time to watch DtC, and am very grateful to everyone who takes more time out of their day to comment. In a perfect world there would be endless time for either Tom or Ob to engage with everyone, but alas the world is far from perfect.

Q: I have a burning question about something in the video! What should I do?!
A: An email sent directly to Tom is the best way to get your question answered, because while he most definitely reads each and every one of your comments, he hasn't quite gotten the hang of replying to them in the comment section, and is not likely to in the foreseeable future. Or ever. Seriously, he still calls TH-cam "the U-TOOBZ".

Info on pocket watch- he needs to actually have that pocket watch appraised by a watch collector, it’s a Breguet which is on the same level as Rolex, Omega, Audemars Piguet, Patek Phillip etc. It also has a WW1 iron cross motif which I’ve not been able to find another of online and being a Breguet it’s most likely a precious metal like platinum, white gold, silver (not so precious today but it was then) his pocket watch could end up being quite valuable.

Sorry but comparing the 2 painted helmets from this video and dtc 13 they are from different units and they both have alot of the same names and nicknames I would say these are post war paint jobs.
Sadly, you are completely wrong - same unit, 112th Anti-aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion. I know the entire history of these helmets and that of two others. I even tracked down some of the veterans whose names appear on the helmets.
