Explained in such simple terms! Understood exactly what you wanted to convey. While buying my bike(Pulsar N250) I chose the 250 over the ns200 because the 250 had loads of torque from the get go while the 200 only wanted to be revved and revved. I can and will nitpick - that gorgeous analogue dial with the white needle, is wasted as a speedo, that should have been the tacho, and I would exchange those in a heartbeat even if it means a digital readout for velocity.

Already booked though but moving from a r15 v3 bs4 to this is a good decision? Because i am little bit concerned about its refinement which r15 offers. Just clear my one doubt is the vibration more on this thing compared to r15 while redlining? If that's the case i will back off and wait for the duke 390 3rd generation to hit the market..pls clear it

    • @RealAutoReviews
      @RealAutoReviews  ปีที่แล้ว

You will be happy to know that the vibrations while redlining in each are almost exactly the same as on the R15! Which means that you won't be bothered. People need to understand that the vibrations while redlining do not matter. Only in the top gear they shouldn't be intense (like on the Ronin), which makes maintaining triple digit speeds while touring hard. Hope this helps! 😃

I like the look & finishing of the Triumph Speed 400 more than the Scrambler 400x & the avaliable color option of Speed 400 as well, but at the same time the Speed 400 feels just little bit compact and the Scrambler seat height is too much high. (My preferably seat height is 805 to max 820 mm & My height is exactly 5 feet 75 inch) & My Traveling areas Consist Of 75% City/NH, 25% Village Road with potholes).
I have no problem in spending some extra bucks to get the modifications I want. How can I modified Triumph speed 400 to Scrambler 400x without compromising riding quality ? Or is it a waste of money and foolish to even think about doing so ?
I mean I am thinking about to replace Triumph Speed's only front travel suspension or may be both front & Rear (5.9 inches in the front & 5.5 inches or 5.9 inches in the rear), Steel handel bar (901 mm), front Sprocket (14 tooth) & front Wheels (19 Inches) with Scrambler 400x. What will you suggest in this case ?
Is such modification possible, if yes, will it affect the riding experience and handling posture or will it cause any other problems in long run ?

I have about 20 years of riding experience, primarily on 150cc Japanese bikes like Hondas and Suzukis. Now, I'm looking to upgrade, and I'm torn between two options: the Royal Enfield 350 and the Triumph Speed 400. Both bikes appeal to me for different reasons, but I'm having trouble deciding which one would be the better fit for my needs and riding style.
Rode to the RE outlet on a friend's Classic 350 J series engine bike, which might have been poorly maintained. I had previously ridden the same bike back from Igatpuri and didn't feel confident enough to change lanes, possibly due to the open highway, wet road, or the darkness with no street lights. I generally have a mellow riding style, preferring an easy pace. I'm 5.5 feet tall, muscular, and weight of bike shouldn't be an issue, though I'll likely need to tiptoe on similar bikes. Most of my rides will be home to office, a 10 km route with minimal highway and mostly city travel, with the occasional weekend ride.
I liked the Speed 400, but it felt like a Splendor with minimal road presence. I've always dreamt of owning a Royal Enfield Classic 350, but the vibrations kept me from buying it. Now that there's the J series, I'm uncertain about what to do.

@@RealAutoReviews yeah, in indian conditions ground clearance is something which should be considered before buying a bike, especially a premium one. I am a RS owner and I know the pain of owning an bike with below average gc, in every unscientific tall bumpers it reminds you your life choices.
But if no one is complaining then it is fine i guess.
Although I still believe triumph or bajaj should mention this on their spec sheet for both of the models.

I am an aggressive rider like I lean a lot during turn so should I choose this over CB300r ? Or that is better in terms of lean stability
Also If I will ride at high way Probably I'll be crusing at 110- 130 kph so which one would be better in terms of refinement and would easily take engine abuse.

@@RealAutoReviews Thank you so much, the reason for asking this question being after riding my BMW for the past 2 years, the bike doesnt seem to be as fun and doesnt bring the excitement in me as compared to when I bought this bike and learned how to ride on it! Just one more question, should I move from the G310r to the Speed 400 or save some more money and probably go for a multi cylinder 650 bike. (something like a Versys 650)(I think 650 is a perfect sweet spot of power, efficiency, maintainence, weight, and user exp. than higher displacement engines) I know its not really an apples to apples comparison, thats why I have decided to ask the expert! ❤❤

I was given the bike with suspension at softest setting and I am feeling that on uneven roads the bike throws me off the saddle. Basically I am jumping on air. I have tried going two notches tighter on preload and feeling is still not that great. The suspension felt good with pillion, however.
People are saying this is because of my 65kg weight and heavier riders won't complain. But, what is your thought as I assume you are also lighter than 65kgs. Don't know what to do, feeling depressed as I primarily thought the ride quality is plush as all reviews said.

Is the engine tractable in city traffic?? Or is it jerky like ktm's ??? I hate ktm's city rides. Ktm engine heats alot & jerky engines 😢..
How does speed 400x do with heating & jerkiness in city traffic???
