It’s her group 😂. Lelee founded SWV. She the one who wanted to sing at first but she grew up with Coko in the Bronx, NY. Then they found Taj as a friend they knew in NYC. People don’t know their story because they never watched their reality TV show from 2013. Lelee them defending their legacy that’s why. Xscape are superficial and want to dethrone SWV.

I love both groups, and from an objective point of view, Weak is a stronger closer than Understanding. It was/is a bigger record. It was an international smash that almost sold more units by itself than almost all Xscape's albums combined.

SWV said in an interview that they thought the show was going to be a collaboration like JE and 112 did a few years back. That would have been so dope.... all seven ladies on stage singing each other songs or taking turns to join each grp singing their song. Such a missed opportunity.

SWV said that, then ended up being the most uncooperative out of both groups and did the EXACT SAME THING on their LAST REALITY SHOW with Salt n Pepa, that show had to be canceled entirely, because of SWV

@@aliveandwell3958 They did have a show but the contentiousness was nothing close to what is happening with this show. They did the show with S n P but struggled to get there because Coko was going through a divorce and didn't really participate in the planning. Also, Salt n Pepa wanted to control the entirety of the show just like Xscape. What I did appreciate was the way the ladies interacted. There was little to no shade/disrespect. Xscape should just tour on their own. They have enough internal problems to not add anyone else. SWV would be better off taking smaller money and venues than deal with all that drama.
I agree with Coko about the set list. There are too many slow songs back to back. He need to redo the set list to not have more than two slow songs back to back. Since which group closes the show is causing so much discord between both groups, SWV and Xscape should be on stage together to do a mash up of their biggest hits "Weak" and "Understanding".

Hearing the big difference between hard ATL/Southern accents and Bronx, NY accents and dialect going back and forth is funny.
I can see why this show was hard to put together. Egos were all over the place.

I grew up in the 90s as a kid and teenager. I remember SWV being bigger with their hits in comparison to Xscape. Not saying Xscape didn't have good music, but in my opinion they were not on the same level as SWV.

Understanding is a depressing song. It’s very low vibrational for me. It doesn’t have that friendly contemporary R&B like SWV. SWV was more friendly upbeat music and not big ballads or slow jams churchy songs.

I say that they should've made it a 2 night event because, for one, that gives fans more options/opportunity to go(more revenue for them). They could've opened with a fire mashup on both nights (get the crowd hyped) and then rotate/exchange closing sets. One close on one night, and the other closes the next. Idk I'm just a fan of both groups, and I think a major ball was dropped, and a bag was fumbled.🤷🏿♀️

I saw Tiny in an interview and she spoke of the semantics of it all, saying the headliner also helps pay cost of everything aling with the promoters. I believe that's why they feel they should close because of the coinage they spending....

That would've been Dope. They should've had the show interactive, and asked the fans on the last episode via Social Media. Then again, by that point they were all over it. I think if Xscape hadn't started with the headline approach, things wouldn't have went left. That set the tone and precedent for everything else. It was a Domino effect.
Once again Kandi has to control EVERYTHING & HATES if someone goes against her. That's why in the confession she shaded Coco, because she now wants the public to not like her because Coco didn't agree with Kandi. They should've let SWV give them a list of what order they want the songs to go in. Escape would've felt disrespected if the roles were reversed.

What Xscape is failing to realize is that this tour is a joint venture..they should compromise, and then when they go on their own tour, then they can do it your way...
Doesn’t the same apply to SWV? And if you have seen the production, SWV looks like an opening act. If they aren’t going to share the cost of production then why would Xscape either down grade their production to match SWV or pay to amplify SWV show and play 2nd? Especially when we wouldn’t be talking about SWV without Kandi and Tiny and their relationship with Mona and Bravo.

It's celebrating BOTH groups for their contributions to music. Not Xscape trying to be headliners in the celebration and collaborative effort.
What you are failing to realize is that it is ALL about ticket sales. And SWV is not good at selling tickets. Period

She asked TLC for a versus but dissed them while wearing Lisa Lopes image on her shirt. They are fake which is why TLC stay far away. TLC them don’t play about their legacy & they also have those real personalities. They don’t wear stage clothes like xscape. Xscape would’ve not have spoke down to TLC like that, TBoz/Chili don’t play nor did left eye about their image/style. They don’t dress over sexual as well or sing about a lot of pick me things. Two different styles.
SWV, EnVogue, and TLC is much better their all on the same level commercial success from the 90s, same ages, more authentic, and more mature. Xscape needs to tour alone or don’t tour at all because they’re narcissists who believe they’re better than others but act sneaky with it.
And SWV should only open for TLC. So TLC can wake the people back up after SWV puts them to sleep.

I feel like both groups could’ve taken this as a learning lesson & learned from each group, but instead they let their EGOS take over & now this mess is what we’re stuck with.
