Very nice demo. You know how to handle a yak. I switched from a Vibe Sea Ghost 130 to this boat and haven't regretted it. I also chose the Falcon11 over the Feel Free Mokin 10.
I picked one up in solid orange color and it's a great kayak for creeks especially having that skeg wheel in the back for easy moving. The only gripe I have is the rubber handles, they break easily and the transducer beneath the hull catches on rocks in skinny water. I replaced the rubber handles with some jackson kayak overmolded hard handles and they bolted right up. Thanks for taking the time and doing reviews on different boats. So far I have a crescent ultralite, tarpon 120 and native falcon in my garage, I think I might have a kayak addiction 😅.
Hey Jonathan thanks for your feedback, the kayak addiction is strong 💯. So far so good with our Falcon, we have put big men like myself and smaller ladies on it for many river trips now, and it handled us well. Appreciate you watching the channel 👍
@@dudethe5382 depends on your size and weight, the Falcon is more stable due to it's width and has a little more fishing features and high low seat. The Crescent is a faster boat so easier to paddle and only has a one position seat. The cresent is still a standable boat as long as you have good balance and under 200 lbs. The Falcon weighs 65lbs fully rigged and the Crescent weighs 49lbs fully rigged. Hope that kind of helps on your decision between both boats. They are both great boats just depends on what you are looking to do with them.
Thanks for the video, I am new to kayaking and did not know what size paddle to get for my Falcon. I am 6ft and I think I will go for the 240 C paddle. Thanks for the tip.
Really enjoyed watching your videos I’m getting ready to get my first fishing kayak How do you feel about the native ultimate FX would appreciate your input
Any problems with water getting in the hull where the wheel attaches? Im assuming there is some type of backing plate or something? Thanks for the review!
I never installed the wheel, as I am not a fan of it personally. It works on concrete and asphalt and that's about it. I've never had any problems with water coming through the bolts.
@@tgcanoesandkayaks I borrow kayaks from friends, I'm so used to a Perception Pescador 12.0.. I borrowed a 10 ft kayak one time and I about died as I kept swaying left and right all day while paddling and got seriously winded so that was the moment I decided to stick with a 12.. but the features on this 11fter is a eye catcher... I'm right at 6ft and 255 soaking wet, will I have swaying issues with this kayak? will this fit my body type? Please advise. ty in advance.
@@Bronco2Cj Howdy, it tracks rather well for an 11' kayak imo. Your weight is no problem for the Falcon 11. I don't believe it's a standing to fish type of kayak for most people, I little to narrow for my liking.
The Bite is wider, carries more capacity, 300#, and easier to stand on. The Falcon 11 is a bit narrower and not for big folks, but it does work well for folks 250# and down as a fishing/recreation kayak.
Appreciate your feedback, looked and now between bite and ss 107. For river slow moving class 1 and lakes between these two thoughts? Which better or easier to paddle?

Hey thank you for the compliments 👍 I've been enjoying the Falcon alot this year.

Crescent ultralite vs this boat?

@@andrue17 Fair enough thanks!
Enjoy your boat reviews…How does this boat compare to SS107, which one paddles better in rivers or small lakes
Thanks Paul, Falcon 11 paddles a little better on rivers imo. Bonafide has more standability for fishing.

A 240cm will do you great Ted, appreciate you watching.
Looks like it performs pretty good. Thanks for the information.

Why does your boat not have the transport wheel? Is that a new option?
I never installed the included wheel, I have a ctug kayak cart that works much better over all types of terrain

Your opinion on this kayak vs the Crescent CK1 venture?
How much do you weigh? Will you be paddling rivers, lakes, or coast?
@@tgcanoesandkayaks
5'10 200 pounds
Small streams and rivers small hard to get to lakes
It will be what I use when I don't want to take my salty pdl
@michaelemmel9580 Go CK1, better creek/river running kayak overall. Falcon is a solid kayak, but the performance of the CK1 on rivers is hard to beat.
