Nanmu's bull tyrannosaurus is my favourite figure. It has the most harmonious proportions I've ever seen in a therapod, and the pose is fantastic. The shorter snout and thicker facial features make for a much better aesthetic. Nanmu should allow us to submit our own colouration specifications. I think the dappled aqua green from _Jurassic Park III_ would look much better.
Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Killershrewfan!! As for this Nanmu Bull Rex, It's very well done sculpt and detail wise, but I'm just not a huge fan of the size. Would have liked it to be 15-20% smaller to make it actually in scale to the in-canon Buck T.rex's size and more accurate to that 1/35 scale branding. But now that we have a definitive JP styled Bull Rex, I'm now just here waiting for Nanmu to make an BaBR Allosaurus or a JW styled Suchomimus.
Just got this guy alongside the supplanter 2.0 Spinosaurus. Damn he's big, bigger than the prime 1 Tyrannosaurus Rexy from Fallen Kingdom, I mean she's taller sure, but future King is longer and significantly heavier. The Alpha female Rex should arrive next week for me, so I'll basically have the whole family(the papo T.rex infant should go nice with them).
If you want to, you can easily say the green varient or alpha is a correct representation of the tyrannosaur from jp3 who fights the spino. It’s much more in line with scale and size of the spino for it to be an accurate on screen display. I feel like yeah it was a cheep way to make a bull but I love the new one who is specifically made to be the bull tyrannosaur from the lost world. In my opinion it would make a great collection to have all three. Alpha and the king, with the green varient of alpha to display with your spino!
@@2067792332977602 looking at their updated banner, it looks like 2.0 is going to be a bit bigger than the original. Of course, we’ll need some in-hand comparisons to confirm but it looks like it’s going to be an impressive beast
It’s almost perfect. The eyes really bug me. If they wanted to make the best buck possible, why did they ruin the eyes? Breaks my heart. Unpopular opinion: i prefer the Green Alpha Rex.
I guess they were just yellow in the film now that I think about it. Still, I don’t hate the orange. It’s interesting though that the brown alpha rex had something similar happen, I wonder why that is.
I hadn’t thought to check retailers like Everything Dinosaur. I suppose if you’re EU based then that’s easily the way to go but with international shipping it still puts it around that 140 USD range since they’re sending two separate boxes. The cheapest you can add the base on here in the states is for 10 dollars but that’s from BBTS, and they don’t even have this figure in stock yet despite it being available to order from every where else. I suppose if you’re patient then you wouldn’t have to pay as much for the base but you’re still looking at over 100 USD total.

You can easily repaint the eyes and add scares on the face.
The base price in the UK is £5 so seems like your vendor has priced it high!

The common estimate of size of the rex was 42ft i beleive
That sounds better than 39 feet for sure, I thought that sounded a little small
