Last week I lost seven (SEVEN) ladders in a row because I kept on running on the EXACT same copypaste map, all with different users, which is the dessert one with that new brave Robin and her damn ice. I was just too lazy to unlock the teams and then reacomodate all their skills again just for that, but still. its incredible how much the rng can hate you and make you hate it in return...
In light season, B!Alfonse + 4 Mila's clean clears nearly every possible map and team comp. You'll want merges or Celica ring for the +10 squad maps, but he really does cook 99% of the options people run in AR. Beyond that, you'll basically need warping akin to Elincia + Felix + dancer to peel through the copypasta desert maps.
Yeah I've been seeing the desert B!Robin match being talked about. That's why I have a version of the Felix team with R!Tana to allow Tana to break those. Theoretically N!Igrene is the best for that instead of Tana since she can also run Disarm Trap, but Tana also works too!
Try using Rearmed Tana if you have her. She uses Felix to warp over him and break one of the annoying ice blocks which then allows Felix to warp with Tana's Guidance 4 or Celica ring Felix so that Felix can warp in and attack someone. Just make sure both Felix and Tana get out of range afterwards
Yeah like Pigeonleader says, I have a version of my Felix team with R!Tana for that exact reason. Other units besides R!Tana that you could use are like N!Igrene, which is actually better since she can also run Disarm Trap.
@@pigeonleader The main problem here is not necesarily the engage but to trap a unit to let you get the pots, the damn ice prevents you from position them how you want or reach other units after galeforce procs.
I know you don't make arena content but I'm curious to hear your opinion, as well as Joel's and Oblivion's, thoughts on the new legendary and arena changes.
Hi dtm, I've been inspired by your videos to start doing galeforce strats, however I'm a newbie in it so I was wondering if you had some tips to get me started. I got B!Embla on the DSH and I have all the gullveigs if that helps
Hi Stronghold. So glad to hear that you were inspired to try out Galeforce! I have a Galeforce Guide on my channel (should be the channel trailer) that goes over the basics that should be helpful! It is a bit old, but the fundamentals should still be relevant as someone new to the strategy. Due note that since that video there has been developments like the rise of AoE Galeforce and the rise of using Warping to intiate like with R!Tana or Celica ring, but everything else should still be good. And of course whenever I talk about Velouria, B!Embla would work there as well. Do let me know if you have any other questions after you watched that! Happy Galeforcing!
@@DTMFEH Ok, I finished the video. A lot of high level concepts but I think I was able to grasp most of them xD (very good video as a high level introduction to the playstyle). I need to formulate teams to see if you approve them at least on paper, however while I do that I have a couple of questions left: 1) How worth is it to invest in bolt tower? Mine is at level 1 because I never used it and I could sink stones into it but I don't know if it's a good idea. 2) How is blessing management done? Is it better to craft completely different teams for each season to not overlap units, or the initiator changes blessing every season, etc. Thanks a lot for your help :)
@@stronghold42 1) The first priority should be the Aether Fountain and Pot to be able to play all the matches in a season. After that, for Offense Buildings, the first priority the is to at least get one of everything for the bonus rotation. After that, escape ladder. Once that is done, the only buildings that are actually worth running on offense is the Fort, Ladder, the Bonus Building, and either the Safety Fence or Bolt Tower. Personally I've made a lot of use of Bolt Tower and it is the great equalizer, so I think it's worth. Obviously not as much if you are initiating turn 1. However after you get it to like I think Level 5 (?) it will switch from Stones to Dew, which are basically free since they are only used for Offense Buildings and as we've established the only ones worth using are the above. 2) Generally with blessings you can transfer around 4 units inbetween seasons assuming you manage things correctly as we get 3 each season and have a chaos week once every 5 weeks. That is generally enough for at least 1 bonus unit and a team core. So what I like to do is I have one team that I use for every season and then the rest are generally stick to one season.
@@DTMFEH 1) I see, then I'll probably try the bolt tower as there really isn't an opportunity cost there. 2) Ok that makes sense. I've been going through my mythics and is it just me or are light mythics just not that great for galeforce strats? (Outside of Askr who unfortunately I haven't been able to get) So far my mythic lineup is as follows: Light: Peony, Milla, Nerthuz (I'm missing Ullr, Askr, Gotoh and Lumera from the pool) Astra: Plumeria, Seidr, Heidr (I'm only missing Eikthyrnir) Are they good or would you suggest something else? My only merged mythics are the fairies.
@@stronghold42 If you only have merges on the faries, then I would probably suggest just running two mythics. Score wise there is no difference between running 2 or 3, it's just with 3 mythics there's more merges you can add to boost your score. Running only 2 also reduces the HP bonus that mythics grant, which could help your initiator better get into WoM range. Obviously you want to run the fairy dancer, and for Astra I think Seidr works fine. For light yeah unfortunately you don't have too many good choices as it's really just askr. I guess you could run Mila to lock down any dancer traps and what not, but it won't be ideal.
DTM I'm still waiting for you to get WoM4 and activate easy mode 😂 Felix has turned out to be insanely good for galeforce. I'll try to get merges at some point if he stays so useful.
So that's why B!Felix has the Levin Sword.... It's because he *is* a walking Bolt Tower!
We were blind this whole time...
17:54 I think what happened here is that Felix stepped outside of Mila's Nurturing Breath range after she smitted peony lol
Watching it again, that could definitely have been the case.

I lost a few doing that because I was in a rush and didn't look at the maps first. It's crazy how useful Robin is on ARD, though.
Yay felix I really enjoyed the offense matches dtm hopefully chaos will be smooth for me which it is 🙂.
Thanks Elliot! I have faith you will do well! I believe in you!
The only hardship I am currently facing using B!Felix is B!F!Robin. She is still annoying with that ice thing. 😅

I actually played the team at 19:00 this week. I needed the bolt trap to help me kill Ike and win on turn 7. Small world.
In the end, we are all members of the Bolt Tower gang
Not a single team with off season Heidrun or any of the new brave heroes? What god or demon do you pray to? I want your luck.
