Mighty Macadamia Brings Business to Kenya's Farmers: Meet Exotic EPZ

Exotic EPZ restores land in Kenya by working directly with over 4,500 smallholder macadamia farmers, of which 85% are women. The company not only improves livelihoods by purchasing macadamia nuts from these smallholder farmers, but also trains them and provides them seedlings to expand their production. Through TerraFund for AFR100, Exotic EPZ is implementing a program that will support farmers in growing 150,000 macadamia trees over nearly 500 hectares, while mixing them with other high-value tree species such as moringa.
