I remembered getting my first car back in mid October 1999 when I was 29 years old. My 1st car was a 1998 Ford Contour SE in light denim blue color. I did test drove the car a little bit. I had the same thing happened when a spring broke in adjusting the steering wheel. It got fixed in January 2000. It didn’t bug me that much. I got used to it. My mother did drove it towards another town that was a little bit south in my car. I let her drove it since I didn’t have my license yet back then. I got my license in mid December 1999. I did took it twice since I failed by 2 points on the first driving test. I thought that I passed the first test and I thought that I did good job in driving around the town that I lived in. My first car was old school with a radio and a tape cassette player. It had power windows, power locks, cruise controls, and 3 cup holders inside. It had cloth seats inside the car. I never had major problems with it. I did daily oil changes and even had the tires replaced twice. For myself that I did twice was replacing the brights. I did unscrewed the head light the whole thing by using the Philip screw driver for the 3 screws. The easy thing is to fill up the windshield wiper fluid in it. Even changed the wipers on the car about 3 or 4 times by myself. I do missed that car a little bit. I had 4 different vehicles over the years. Now I drive a 2020 Ford Escape SE in black for a little bit over 2 years now. The Escape has 8 cup holders in it. My favorite thing in it is using Apple Car Play in the Escape. I do loved the modern technology in today’s vehicles.
