I can’t help but think this scenario was originally planned without Flynn (and yeah I’m calling him Flynn instead of Walter Jr.) in the house, bc Walt blaming Hank for what happened to Jesse is how the scenario would play out if it were just the two of them. If it was, this would be a pretty good scenario as is. That said, I’m not a fan of this scenario at all because Walter being so calloused toward his own son’s death is practically cartoon villainy. Considering Walter was going to give away his entire fortune to save Hank who wasn’t even his blood relative, we have to assume that the loss of his own child would send him into a manic bloodlust. So here’s my version of how this would go down: Walter doesn’t blame Hank for what happened to Jesse, he blames Jesse for what happened to Flynn and Hank’s presence is a mere afterthought. Essentially, his emotional attachment to Jesse manifests as a bitter vendetta. That said, with Jesse already dead, he has to find a different target to project his own guilt onto, which leads him to the Pinkmans. The logic is essentially ‘Jesse destroyed my family, so I must destroy his’, and that would lead him to hire Jack’s gang to perform a hit on Jesse’s little brother Jake. His thinking would be that the Pinkmans must lose their son for taking mine. However, it wouldn’t occur to him that they already lost a son with Jesse bc even as he blames Jesse for Flynn’s death, he still views Jesse as his own despite acknowledging that his family was the Pinkmans by targeting them for his vendetta (a.k.a. a logical contradiction). Meanwhile, Skyler initially blames herself for letting Flynn out of her sight, but after Walter promises that he will find a way to make Jesse pay for what he did to Flynn, she is reminded that Walter is the danger and finds the soonest opportunity to go to Hank and assist him in any way she can to bring Walt to justice. Walter goes to Jack’s compound the very day after the incident to hire them for the hit on Jake Pinkman, and while he’s off to do that, Skyler brings Holly to Hank and Marie’s house to offer her help in pursuing justice for Walt in exchange for DEA protection for the two of them. After a brief hesitation over getting the full DEA involved in the case due to his pride, Marie passionately accosts Hank, urging him to do it for the family, and he then agrees, immediately going to the DEA to inform them that he was investigating Walter White as a suspect in the Heisenberg case and that his wife is prepared to testify against him. After Walter insists that Jack’s guys perform the hit same day, he returns to the hotel they are staying at only to find that Skyler and Holly are not there. He calls Skyler and it cuts to her waiting outside the ASAC’s office with Marie and Holly as Hank is working to get her a plea deal. She obviously doesn’t pick up even as he continues to call (and then is invited into the office to share everything she knows), leaving him to wrack his brain trying to think of where she would have gone with the baby without letting him know. It clicks that she must have gone to Hank and Marie’s, and then he realizes that she must have gone to snitch on him, finally beginning to acknowledge his culpability for Flynn’s death. A million thought swirl through his head as he attempts to think through the mixture of guilt, betrayal, panic and paranoia he is experiencing. He calls Jack, initially intending to call off the hit, but after Jack answers, Walter questions him in a state of turmoil as to whether or not they have done the job. After Jack responds that they haven’t, a sudden eerie sense of calm settles over Walt as he realizes what he needs to do. ‘Change of plans’ he says in a much lower voice than before, ‘Kill the whole family, I’ll pay you triple’ he orders. After a moment of confusion, Jack agrees, adding that it actually makes the job way easier but joking that he’ll gladly take the pay raise. ‘But before you do’ Walt continues, ‘Let me meet you, I’m gonna give you a note handwritten by me to leave at the scene, and make sure nobody but me puts fingerprints on it’ ‘Huh? You’re gonna leave a handwritten confession at the scene of the crime?’ Jack questions ‘Don’t worry, none of your names are gonna appear on it, only mine and Jesse’s’ Walt responds. ‘You do realize you ain’t a villain in a Saturday morning cartoon, don’t you?’ Jack quips. ‘Do we have a deal?!’ Walt retorts sternly ‘…yeah’ Jack says hesitantly They then discuss a meeting spot and about an hour later Walt hands the piece of paper and gives the green light. That night, the headlines are buzzing as Walter White has become the prime suspect in the Heisenberg case due to the alleged testimony of his wife and a note left at the scene of the triple homicide of the Pinkman family which reads: ‘Jesse Pinkman will regret the day he ever crossed the great Heisenberg - Walter Hartwell White’ Shortly after Skyler and the rest of the family, accompanied by DEA agents at Hank and Marie’s house, see the news report which essentially acts as Walter’s confession, Skyler gets a call from Walt. She tells the agents and is instructed by them to answer and tell him that she is alone. She does and the conversation essentially goes the same way it does in the same scenario in the actual show but with altered details to acknowledge the different context (primarily taking the credit for the Pinkman murders instead of Hank and Steve’s murders), and at the end Walter tells her to go to the hotel room and pick up a sheet of paper, subtly hinting at what it is for (the one with the coordinates to the barrels of money, where all but the one he took for his own purposes remain buried, which he left for her there but does not want the DEA to know the contents of). The next morning after spending the night at Jack’s compound, he calls to order a very specialized piece of vacuum equipment and is never heard from again. That’s my alternative version of this scenario, hope y’all like it. Edit: I honestly didn’t expect this to get engagement from Murge himself lol, but since it did I should clarify that this was made as a first response to the video which is why the latter half when Walt actually makes the decision is a little sloppy and rushed and if I were to genuinely suggest this as an alternative video script I would make major changes to it and flesh it out and tweak the the formatting and so on, but with that said I still stand by this being a more fitting version of events imo; either way thx for engaging Murge, just wanted to make sure u know that I think u generally do good work on this channel and this is the only what if of urs I’ve seen that rly didn’t sit right and that I felt a need to respond to (still appreciate the effort tho), keep up the good work 👍 P.S. @@jacksonconley5117 Appreciated, it’ll be dark af regardless given the series and the point of the plot progression, the only question is how fitting (and like I said this version needs major work too but is in the right direction)

@@mannyfresh5051 Yes. Hank would be forced to admit defeat, and probably resign from the DEA, no longer feeling worthy of his title, and he and Marie would most likely move away, officially severing ties with the rest of the family. No one dies, but no one is happy (reasonably).
I always hated Skyler's inconsistent character. Walt even said he would turn himself in just keep the money but then she becomes Momma Heisenberg and says nah fuck em. But then a second later is drinking and scoffing about Pinkman. Like bitch he gave you an out. Share some accountability.
I think my favourite Jesse line is the monologue he speaks in the hospital about how “ever since I hooked up with the great Heisenberg, all I ever cared about is gone”
Yeah he could title the video "What if Gus is actually a terminator from the future... dude nobody would survive a close up blast from a bomb like that, Don't be silly
What if the Salamanca’s orchestrated a war between Gus’ crew and Jack’s gang? I know, given the personalities of the members of both factions, things going the other way around would be the more likely outcome, however, it may be a more interesting story if Hector and Tuco manage to but their egos aside and act prudent enough to set Fring’s people and the neo-Nazis against each other while avoiding garnering the suspicion of either group. Edit: To clarify this will be around the events of Breaking Bad season 1. Hence, I didn’t mention Lalo.
I think I remember Murge saying before that he hasn't done any What Ifs about the neo-nazis showing up earlier because he thinks they were basically insignificant before Walt joined up with them? That they were just a minor player in the Albuquerque crime scene, a random gang that wasn't anywhere near the level of Gus or the Salamancas.

Edit: I honestly didn’t expect this to get engagement from Murge himself lol, but since it did I should clarify that this was made as a first response to the video which is why the latter half when Walt actually makes the decision is a little sloppy and rushed and if I were to genuinely suggest this as an alternative video script I would make major changes to it and flesh it out and tweak the the formatting and so on, but with that said I still stand by this being a more fitting version of events imo; either way thx for engaging Murge, just wanted to make sure u know that I think u generally do good work on this channel and this is the only what if of urs I’ve seen that rly didn’t sit right and that I felt a need to respond to (still appreciate the effort tho), keep up the good work 👍
P.S. I’m also not sure if I should take this as confirmation that my theory I proposed at the beginning of the comment is correct but I won’t assume anything till I get a reply from Murge (if)
While it’s pretty dark it feels more realistic and I think it works better.
@@jacksonconley5117 Appreciated, it’ll be dark af regardless given the series and the point of the plot progression, the only question is how fitting (and like I said this version needs major work too but is in the right direction)
What if Jessie left with Ed the first time Saul demands the drugs but Jessie being annoyed just wants him to shut up so gives it to him just to get him to stop talking so Jessie never figured it out and leaves
Favorite Jesse line is, fittingly enough, "He can't keep getting away with it! HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT"! And boy, no he didn't.
This gonna be fire literally
What if Saul went with Walt in granite state
Ik it might not make sense, but what if Howard was at Jimmy's apartment by the end of 5x9?
Yeah,Mista Murge! Yeah HEISENVERSE!
so in the episode "Wiedersehen", when lalo and gus meet, it seems like lalo makes a suggestion that the salamancas and gus team up against don eladio. now obviously gus wouldn't accept this given his history with the salamancas, but what if he accepted it as a way to take them all down, the salamancas and the cartel?
What if jesse would have just went into the van instead of trying to get revenge
Walt wins basically right ? Lol 😅
You should do What if Gus survived, that could be a crazy scenario and ngl I’m surprised you haven’t done it
Gus would have to lay low, and get his face reconstructed, but he'd definitely return with a vengeance.
Yeah he could title the video "What if Gus is actually a terminator from the future... dude nobody would survive a close up blast from a bomb like that, Don't be silly
@@BlLLY The plot could be that Gus escaped the blast or the bomb failed
What if the Salamanca’s orchestrated a war between Gus’ crew and Jack’s gang? I know, given the personalities of the members of both factions, things going the other way around would be the more likely outcome, however, it may be a more interesting story if Hector and Tuco manage to but their egos aside and act prudent enough to set Fring’s people and the neo-Nazis against each other while avoiding garnering the suspicion of either group.
Edit:
To clarify this will be around the events of Breaking Bad season 1.
I don't see Jack and his crew lasting from it. 😂
Jack's crew was light weight. Mike would kill all of them on his own.
i love niche channels like this
This is the moment Walt jr became chuck
What if one of the bullets that Emilio shot at the RV door, hit Walter, forcing him to go to the hospital.
*What if Hank decided to take a peek into Walt's bag after the "half-million in cash" remark?* Maybe out of concern for Walt doing heavy lifting, like "nahnahnah I got it, lemme even the weight out for ya!"
What if murge was in the breaking bad universe and he has to make 1 million dollars before he dies of cancer
You’re back. I’ve been looking forward to this moment.
What if Walt was contacted by aliens?
What if Mike killed Lydia before she could tell Walt, Jesse and Mike about the train with the methylamine?
what if Hank had a modern cellphone on that one scene?
Could you do "What if Howard gave Jimmy a job at HHM when he passed the bar"?
“Then do it yourself” in the finale. When Jesse finally walks away from Walt.
Spouses cannot be FORCED to testify against each other. And one spouse can invoke privilege for marital communications even if the other wants to testify. But it's not true that spouses can't testify against each other.
I think I have a good idea for a what if, what if Gustavo noticed the obvious pipe bomb hector had on his wheel chair before he could have set it off
THANK YOU FOR STILL DOING THESE!
you have a future as a TV writer one day, I swear!
One day
What if in season 2 episode 4, Jesse beat Walter to death in RV
makes you realize how lucky jesse was to survive the show. almost all of these what ifs mean he has to go
Idea for a video, What it Hank caught Walter bugging his office before the Train Heist? I feel like this could go in a few different ways, Hank arresting Walt outright, Walt getting questioned intensely… i dunno. Would love to see it!
Cool idea!
What if Jesse shot Sus and Finger as they were both passed out in the car after killing the cartel
Walter wouldn’t be collected about his sons death. He was a mess about hank. He’d probably act all irrational and try to find a way to kill hank himself or something
Hank was already ASAC at this point. He’d have to answer to Ramey, not Merket
what if nacho missed when he threw the pills in hectors pocket
What if Donald Margolis followed through with calling the cops on Jane and Jesse?
Welcome back Murge. Another great what-if.
I have an idea for a video what if Walter never sold his share of gray matter
What would happen if Walter and Jesse never meant Saul Goodman
“Yes Mr White! Yes SCIENCE!”
Wasn't Hank the ASAC at that point in time?
Would that affect him solving the mystery culprit of Hisenburgh?
we're so back
What if Anton Chigurh was in the breaking bad verse
Good to have you back merge
What if Casper killed Lalo
Its really good to have you back man!
What if hank took a piss instead of a shit?
"say the words... say you want this, nothing happens until you say it"
"I want this..."
@@UnwantedGhost1-anz25 "Then do it yourself"
15:18 I think it's that they can't be *compelled* to testify against each other, but in this version of events...I think Skylar would testify against him willingly. This version of events is so interesting..giving Skylar and Marie a real team up...Walter going fully cold blooded...really enjoyed it :D
You should do “What If Mike Sent Todd to Belize After the Train Heist”.
Hank, Steve, Andrea, and the housekeeper who was buried in a flashback during El Camino stay alive. Maybe things will be better than in canon.
I have 3 what if
Breaking Bad-
What if Mike got Walt a room with Gus
Better Call Saul-
What if Saul took Howard's job offer
What if Saul took the 7 year deal
"Yeah Science!"
What if the sopranos went to Albuquerque?
(Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul and The Sopranos crossover over)
finally im so happy you uploaded again, ive been waiting months!
"I'd ask my diaper-wearing granny, but her wheelchair wouldn't fit in the RV.” - Jesse Pinkman,
Glad to have you back, I've missed these videos
First time since i subbed that i was early for a video. Love your stuff. My favorite Jesse Pinkman quote is his monologue about making the box. What if Emilio never noticed Walt in the DEA car and Walt, Jesse, and Emilio start cooking as a trio and sell to Krazy 8. I'd love to see how Jesse and Emilio squash their beef and maybe Emilio also recognizes Walt from school. I'd love to see how that plays out.
What if jimmy died in the Desert in the episode bagman
