Which documents do i need to open a business bank account?

I was told that if I go with TD, I can only direct deposit to employees with TD. If they don't have TD I need to write up a cheque. Is this true? Sounds like nonsense to me.
I went with BMO Business Builder 2 because they have three months free promotion. I do however like the idea of access to a business advisor however.

I use Wise and it works very well, specifically when you have transactions in foreign currency; it gives you great rates. They also have a credit card, but is a prepaid card.
