24 HOURS in SAN FRANCISCO! (No cable cars?!) 😭

- We finally made it to SAN FRANCISCO, woot woot! Our final stop on our west coast van life series! This was our first time exploring San Francisco, and we had an awesome time seeing so many of the cities iconic neighborhoods. From Haight Ashbury to Chinatown to Pier 39 (cue adorable sea lions) and the Golden Gate Bridge park...we definitely covered a lot of ground in 24 hours! Our only disappointment was that the cable cars weren't working (watch the full video to find out why).

Such a fun and great place to check out! We were there several years back when my older daughter was looking at colleges. And funny, we totally went to Fisherman's Wharf and had... bread bowls!! It's so cool following your adventures!
That's awesome! Once we walked past that restaurant and smelled the sourdough bread baking, we couldn't go any further until we had a bread bowl!
Where did your oldest daughter end up going to school at?

Love that you rolled upper=deck style, despite the chill. That'd deffo be our jam, too! San Fran is such an amazing city, and the architecture is so gorgeous. We've both been to S.F. a number of times (pre-vlog days), but not together. Bummer about the cable cars, sorry you didn't get to experience them. Oh hell yeah, to the Purple Rain tee! My parents grew up in Frisco. My Mom and her 9 siblings grew up in Haight Ashbury not because they were hippies but because they were poor. My Dad grew up in a nicer part and actually swam out to Alcatraz 3 times while it was still a prison and got caught every time by the Coast Guard. He said it's all myth and it's not as hard as they lead you to believe and Ironically later joined the Coast Guard later and went on 3 missions searching for escaped prisoners. All 3 times they found them dead.
