    I live in a country where it's very hard to find bicycle cards so when my family comes to visit I have to ask them to bring me some and they come like once a year so this is very useful thank you so much😃👍

    Hey guys, I want to add on one more tips. You can apply a very light and thin layer of those baby powder on your cards when you can't fan your card that good anymore. It actually helps to remove the oily/greasy substance that may have on your cards. I owned a one year old bicycle rider back and it still perform at its best. I also apply some baby powder on my palm before play to avoid the oil from my hand transferring to my cards. Hope this helps. Cheers

      Sounds like a great idea! Bit Is the powder easy to get off your cards afterwards?

      Do not use baby powder, use fanning powder. Baby powder absorbs moisture and leaves a sticky residue. Fanning powder creates less friction to the cards and work better than baby powder

    Well i started 1 year ago and all my decks are Training decks. Went through 14 decks like a hot knife through butter. Got a couple of fancy decks like Grimoire or Ignite but i kinda hate those since i need to care for them and such.
    And like he said, if your decks are ruined and you cant seem to fan them just leave them in their pack in a cold environment. They`ll get back in shape after 2-3 weeks and last 2-3 days. Do this as many times as you want. I always seem to find a deck that has been sitting untouched for weeks since i never threw away decks.
    Ordered 5 more decks yesterday and this time i`ll try washing my hands before using them lol.

    The reason why that when u fan cards and end up having gaps in the fan is because the card that is in between the gap is bent differently than the other cards. And when u put the cards back in the box and under weights, you're straightening all the cards. I learned this when I put a very bent card in a deck and fanned it.

    The only cards I perform with are Bicycle. I buy a box of 12 at BJ's Wholesale Club for $12-13. Cheap enough.
    Cards like the black ones I don't perform with. I have around 250 different decks in my collection and I like to keep them sealed and untouched. Especially if a deck is rare. I don't think it's smart to be performing with a deck like my Gold Artifice or David Blaine Red Gatorbacks for example. I payed a pretty penny for those decks, among others and like to keep them sealed. If I ever sold them down the road, nobody wants to pay top dollar for an abused, worn out used deck, no matter how rare it is.

    • @arissuper3189
      @arissuper3189 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      So you just buy them so you have them there and just seeing them in the shelf?? I have 10 decks in my collection and i'm using 6 of them and i have 2 of them sealed

    • @jasonduhamel7813
      @jasonduhamel7813 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Memas 2 3 4 Yes. Their fore my collection. Ask yourself this. If you paid $65 for a deck of rare David Blaine Red Gatorbacks, would you open them and ruin them by using them? I have many decks I paid $20 and up for and in not going to ruin them when I can buy a brick of Bicycle cards at a wholesale club like BJ'S for $12

    • @arissuper3189
      @arissuper3189 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jason Duhamel 65$?? Lol.. That's very expensive men.. Keep them safe😂.. but for the decks that are made and design for usage and handling is stupid do have them sealed..

    • @XavierEMagic
      @XavierEMagic 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Evan Lichens
      Get some fine grit sandpaper and sand the inner and outer edges. Also try loosening the clip by lightly prying it open, not too much that you break ir damage the clip, but enough so it's not too tight and hard to get your deck in.
      I hope this helps.

    i just bought my bkcycle cards last week and now its dirty and kinda moisturized or getting soggy pls someone help on what should i do

    • @coastalcardiciancollectabl1032
      @coastalcardiciancollectabl1032 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      noah gonzales Time to replace them. If older cards are clumping, u can use fanning powder and/or soap to get them fanning and spreading better, but there's nothing you can do to come back from moisture issues.
      If you're practicing for a while at a time, the cards will start to feel warm and moist. That's why it's important to rotate decks out. At the end of the day, these are made from two pieces of paper with a layer of glue in between. The two biggest things you should take from Vinh's tips are clean hands and storage.

      There were still some useful tips in there though :) perhaps consider reworking the vid :)
      I just spent some time putting all cards back into their boxes hehe:P I tend to use several decks to give them time to cool off and switch between them but I leave them out of the boxes because I'm lazy. I just put them on top of the box so they are out of the box all day long.
      -edit- They are actually pretty much always out of the box when I'm at home unless I'm transporting them. Bad habit I guess :P
