- I've always wanted to have my quad tuned instead running a pre-set tune. Chuck at CFM Motorsports did an excellent job tuning my Raptor to run it's best! I can't believe the gains he made across the whole power range. The new Rossier exhaust runs great, looks great, and sounds great! The new Fuel Customs Intake put the stock intake to shame. I'm grateful CFM was recommended to me and this wont be the last time Chuck works on my quad. Thanks again to everyone who helped!

Hey chuck! Never been on a dyno but heres a list of engine performance upgrades on my 05 Z! Dynatek ignition coil and cdi box, tm40mm flat slide racing carb, Honda trx 450 fci intake, Head ported and polished, Stage 2 hot cams, kibblewhite springs, cylinder works 434 big bore kit, and running engine ice coolant. I'm super curious to know what kinda numbers I'm making but I know the only way to even slightly tell is to put it on a dyno. I know theres other things I dont have like a stroker crank, high compression piston, and oversized valves. She runs pretty good as is!
Dude, excellent and thoroughly done. Awesome and surprising to see the difference. It's really cool that a new airbox is included with that kit.

I had my helmet with to rip it in the parking lot but i'm glad I've waited, I haven't even revved it 😆You'll have to reach out to Chuck when your ready to up the power! I'm very excited for the future with this new trailer, it was a big investment but we know were gonna need another machine for Connor to ride as soon as we can make it happen! It's been quiet the last few weeks but i'm excited to get back to editing/riding routine 😬

Today I got on my raptor 660R and man I love that quad. It might not be as fast as your 700, but it is still super fun to ride on a gravel road

Add the hot cams stage 3 and get a bigger front sprocket if not you just have the two front tires in the air more of the time . On mine I have the hot cams stage 3 , same air intake, monster exhaust and the bored out tb
I had a 2009 raptor 700 i had a big 3 with a k&n intake full leovince x3 exhaust en a powercommander 5 it had 46.7 hp and 57 nm torque but this is nuts 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😇😇

Thunderbowl in florida had one for the track. Its what made the races fair. If you dont have a dyno at the track, someone cheating. I had more fun on ths dyno seeing what the trx did after an upgrade. Dynos are a gift from the heavy metal gods.

Waiting to see you ride it again
When you removing that parking brake. Alba has a park brake block off plate. Super easy mod and gets rid of the clutter on the bars. Took me 5 minutes. Also when you got the tune why did you go with the ais delete. You gain more power removing the ais system. It is only there for the factory to meet emission standards. Another super easy mod and it makes the quad look super clean. Your going to feel a world of difference riding now. I bought the big three which was rossier, fci, and vortex and then blocked off ais system. I was blown away. Enjoy it she going to pull a lot harder.

50+hp over a 3000rpm spread right where youll need it, plus 3-6+ FT-LBS as well...now THOSE are some badass gains, especially when it sounds WAY better..and when stock its 50hp and for only ~500rpm

Mine makes 65 hp with a stage 2 cam, Race compression piston, k&n intake, and Yoshimura exhaust. 2009 Raptor 700r SE with 6000 miles. All dyno tuned and tested at a local shop. Love these machines so much that I can never sell it 🙂
I need help yesterday I put the pcv on my raptor 700r 2017 but it does not start and not even the gasoline pump, did I do something wrong? Help pelase
or do i have to download a map for it to turn on?

A full system Monster exhaust is the loudest and is one of the exhausts that puts out the most power, but you may have told me you don’t want anything too loud but that exhaust is still sweet
Once I heard Monster is the loudest I knew it wasn't a good idea lol, this is even a little louder than I expected. Although it would be expensive, it would be cool to see a pipe shootout someday.. It could cause some drama though 😆

Hello Pete, nice vid. Just getting back into atv scene after few years away. Been hard finding late model used 700 in my area past year or so to my liking, so gave up and bought 2019 se which is my 4th Raptor 700. Had a 2011 se with dual barkers, pc5, and fci open box, and dynoed. Big difference over stock. Never ran new bike yet and no plans yet on upgrades. This vid gets me thinking though not keeping it stock, thanks for that 🤔. Now need to find a money tree to shake lol!

Thanks man! The 400ex is an awesome quad, theres tons of aftermarket available and they're very affordable. Plus they run forever if you maintain them! I'm excited to get some footage under power at various distances to hear the new exhaust. it wont be long! 🤘
I have both a 2005 400ex and an 07 700r. Save the extra $1000 and get the raptor (used prices I'm talking). It's worth it if you're going to be seriously riding. The 400ex is an awesome quad no doubt but there is no comparison. The Raptor is 100x easier to ride.

@@v8power561 I would not recommend the 660. The 660 had a lot of kinks that Yamaha worked out in the 700. The 700 is just a superior machine. Plus the smoothness of the fuel injection is totally worth it by itself. The Raptor 700 was made starting in 2006 however I personally like getting a year or two later as small issues tend to arise the first model year. If you find a great deal on an 06, don't hesitate to jump on it though.

Pete you really should invest in a trailer. Maybe even an enclosed trailer. You can haul the atv out of the elements and haul more gear as well, specifically in our Minnesota winters

ononewheel7 it had done the same thing a little while back with my black wheels and snow tires. I just assumed the balloon tires were pretty unbalanced and that’s why I had the whobble. I had it on stands to check my rear rotor because that seems to be a little tweaked as well 😅

RPM Dominator is a solid axle i have two one is almost two years old and not bent!
I used to run LSR axles and would bend one ever year usually before i even reached a year!
Hey buddy do you see the back of your airbox where the tools are usually get held don’t know if you have a power commander in there but you have to port your plastic so you can get more air because even if you have an air filter you’re still enclosed in a box and you still have a seat on it you have to be able to suck in air evenly and get a nice flow and you want to make sure it’s not where it’s going to be sloppy and wet air either

Pete where did u buy the ramp u use to get the raptor on the truck?
I put a FCI intake and Dasa pipe on a KFX 450 made huge difference over stock. I hated that filter though. See if they sell a foam option for ur bike, much better.
The Rossier sounds amazing, I'm stuck between Rossier, Barkers and Monster exhaust.
Those are all great choices, you can't really go wrong with any of them. I will say Monster's are definitely the loudest pipes I've heard to date! 😅👍

@@SF-fh4td I’m really happy with my Rossier pipes and plan on continuing to run them! Monster has the reputation of making the most power, especially if you have a built engine. Either way the gains are gonna be pretty similar depending on which pipe you go with so I always tell people to pick their favorite and go from there 👍

Hey Pete I just put a big gun evo r full dual exhaust ,a power commander 5, and a gytr air filter and no lid, and new front15 tooth and rear sprocket when I star her up cold and let her idle my header pipe glows orange just before the curve in header pipe until I get on and ride her and I think she’s backfires a lil but not really bad or anything , but runs like a different animal man any suggestions or is it normal for my header pipe to glow , please let me know any information is good

I haven't! i want to try one really bad some day! I've always thought they were so cool and unique. The little fenders on the front tires are so funny lol 😅I've always heard they're a pretty soft ride but they're also very "big" on a sport quad level. Hopefully I get the opportunity to share one this year and maybe that owner will let me ride it 😊

I'm excited to share the first impressions. It really hit home when I saw the final before and after graph. Crazy gains across the whole board. I would ask local racers for recommendations if your considering it, they could point you the right direction!

Josh Lowe congrats on the new raptor man! 😬 I liked my HMF exhaust, it had a good exhaust note and it fit well and everything. However this Rossier exhaust is on another level. I’m pretty obsessed with how it sounds, it’s very loud but everyone I’ve ridden with loves the sound as well. I wanted a more race focused exhaust and this one didn’t disappoint 👍
