WATCH: Light pole falls just missing cars driving through

A traffic light pole came crashing down on Kapiolani Boulevard on Tuesday, barely missing some oncoming cars. The city now says inspections will be done more frequently as a precaution.

They may want to look into the addition of a drain hole in the base of the pole. The photos appear to show the majority of the corrosion was internal.

base of the pole, nuts and bolts, all corroded with cancerous rust!! how many total workers in DAGS or county maintenance, are on ALL islands? put away that manapua and start working this or one day, face a fatality when it collapses and hits and kills someone or a vehicle!
