    @cplbird8179 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Quick testimonial... after the Sept challenge, which was the real start to my Wolf Pack journey and intro to high reps, I have noticed many positive side effects.
    Im sleeping better. I have more emotional control. I can focus WAY better.(I read 4 books this last week. Something I've never come close to doing. I have better appetite control.
    Its pretty astonishing the effect these style of workouts have had. Its definitely dialed up my quality of life. Excited to keep pushing along side the 🐺 Wolfpack! Keep at it ppl.

    • @paquito4147
      @paquito4147 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      What high rep work out should I do for gain mass? I have been doing calisthenics for 1 year but on/off I have gained some mass but I am not muscular, recently I learnt to do muscle up, and I can do like 12 pull-ups and 15 dips

    • @cplbird8179
      @cplbird8179 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@paquito4147 others might disagree. But 2 ways to gain mass is to hit the weights(bodybuilder/powerlifter build) or use explosive movements(sprinter body type). Super high rep workouts will condition the muscle but not force it to grow beyond what is needed to carry your weight. You could look into a weight vest. Or bulk with weights and trim down with high reps workouts. Im fairly big from weights but retaining most my size and losing fat while doing high rep work.
      1 year of on/off isn't long enough to see size gains. Imo... focus on performance, the size will come but that can depend on body type, age, metabolism, etc too. If your in a rush to gain size weighted workouts are money.
      Iron Wolf looks great but he is 185 lbs and about my height. From weights I built up to 220(mostly good weight).
      Size is cool for the mirror but there is more to fitness than size.
      Lastly. Eat more.

    • @paquito4147
      @paquito4147 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cplbird8179 recently I started doing 4-5x per week:
      5 muscle-ups in the less tries and then:
      8 pull-ups 10 dips 12 ring bodyweight rows 12 diamond push ups, 3 rounds of this. And I will add more rounds till 10 and then add reps in every round. Do you think this is good for getting a lean body? I don't want to gain a lot of mass, just to "develop" the muscle, so they look "solid", and specially develop vascularity in my arms (I mean to grow my veins in my arms so they show even if I have some bf%)
      Also, I have been working out for 2 years, 1 year of weightlifting bulked up from 62 kgs to 75 kgs but with some fat, and in this year of calisthenics I mantained the 75 kgs and losing some fat

    • @cplbird8179
      @cplbird8179 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@paquito4147 sounds solid. Its hard to say how you will respond without knowing many specifics.
      The trick is to be consistent enough to see whats working and whats not. If your inconsistent you can't blame the method, you can only blame yourself.
      Any cardio in there? All the movements you mention are very strength based. Thats why burpees are awesome. They are a little bit of strength mixed in with a lot of cardio.
      As for your 3 rounds of pull ups, dips, rows, diamonds... only 3 rounds? 3 rounds or sets would be almost sufficient with weightlifting but for bodyweight weight movements you need more volume. Either more rounds or more reps or both.
      Are you sore the next day? You shouldn't always be sore but if your not feeling your workout the next day some of the time(whether it be from soreness or fatigue) then your not doing enough.
      Weightlifting was invented to speed up the muscle building process so instead of doing 100 push ups, you can do 10 bench presses and see the same(ish) results. Obviously push ups are more conditioning where as bench presses are strength(when reps are low

    • @paquito4147
      @paquito4147 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cplbird8179 thanks for taking your time in writing that. I am 19 years old, and yes, I should do more volume, it is true, in the last days I have been reading a lot about it and I think I love the prison style work outs, hundreds of push ups, pull-ups, dips.. Today I did 100 push ups and then 50 pull-ups (split in sets obviously), I think it is good for start, and felt a good pump, specially because I always have done the exercises with extreme full ROM so I was resting a lot in the top/low position, and now I don't lock out at all so I mantsin the tension in the muscles the whole set, and I even could do a bit more reps lol.
      I will be doing some days a circuit like the last comment, but doing like 10 rounds, then another day like today, just aim for a lot of volume in 2 exercises.. (I want to reach like 300 push-ups and 100 pull-ups in a work out)

    Awesome wolf thanks heaps man for the no bullshit training routines and advice.
    I completed the September challenge advanced was a hell ride but started to get used to it about week 3-4.
    I’ve had 2 days off and I’m gonna do the whole thing for October cause it really improved my overall strength and abdominal core too. I started off only being able to manage 2-3 chin ups per set and had to swap between pull ups and chin ups to cope. I’ve now comfortably completed the whole routine e doing sets of 5-6 and all pull ups so my arm strength has improved allot in 4 weeks. I’d like to get up to the 8-10 reps per set but that might take until December. Anyway wishing the Wolfpack my very best.

The pain fades in a few days but don't work chest at all till the pain is totally gone then ease back in. Do leg work, cardio, daily stretches, and massage the pec hard and deep into the muscle 2x per day. Make sure you do the warmup and cooldown routunes.

    My work requires 8 hours a day being sedentary to the desk in front of computer.
    What can I do to not be a sedentary person?
    I try to get up every 30 minutes and when I come back home I hit 1 hour of workout or I go for a run.
    Can I be more effective? Stay safe, respect.
    (Sorry for my english)

      idk how your place is situated or how your desk is, but maybe get a standing desk and a walking mat for your desk if possible.

    Hey Gunny. I'm all about fitness and health. I'm still lifting weights, yet I'm unfortunately not doing my burpees every other day like I did. Semper fi.

    Whoever gave this a thumbs down is a communist. Probably the same person that gave my workout videos a thumbs down.
