It's an incredible piece of music, it's a combination of pop and classical, she is derided by the classical purists, but has outsold them all, and packed stadiums all over the world for decades. I love how the singing brought an air of calm.

This isn't Opera. It is a pop song. It was written by Francesco Sartori in the early 90's. Andrea performed it in 1995 at the Sanremo festival. It sold over 12 million copies in Europe and became big as a duet in 1996 when the boxer, Henry Maske, fought American Virgil Hill and Maske asked them to sing it as his walk on music. Subsequently it broke all German chart records and was certified 11 x Gold.

He is the best opera singer in the world. She is British and started out in a dance group called 'Hot Gossip'. She married Andrew Lloyd Webber and was the first Christine in his Phantom of the Opera.

She is not an opera singer, she is a musical singer, albeit at the operatic end of the musical genre. She was married to Andrew Lloyd Webber, who wrote several musicals for her and her voice, foremost of which is Phantom Of The Opera.
