It's kind of amusing how about 25 years later, we'd have another Roguelike centered around Jupiter with a focus on ranged attacks (Jupiter Hell, for those who don't know). I wonder if there's something subtle to the setting that makes Roguelikes involving them as fun as they are? /:3 Incidentally, though it's really fair enough considering it's been like 10 years by now, a recent redesign of Ron Heuse's site means that most of the links above no longer work and hitting the Wayback Machine will be necessary to view that hint page at the time I type this, but he's also changed the requirements to obtaining Episode 2 - just ask politely, and you're pretty much good to go.
+Schwarzer Ritter You post details about the game on your own website/webpage and then send an eMail to the author to let him know about it and ask for the second episode. :B
@@Pixelmusement 27 years later, and I still haven't played episode 2! :( If only I had a website. I'd rather just give him the $14 and shipping and handling at this point.
@@RetroIslandGaming Pretty sure a social media page would suffice by this point. Just mention the game there and that'd probably be good enough. Even if it doesn't pan out there's no harm in trying! ;)
Oh hey, yet another game I paid full price for while passing up the greatest name-brand Nintendo games. Y'know, because indie DOS games didn't tend to cost $60.
This is one that makes a good use of the PC speaker in my opinion. Killing the critters is pretty satisfying, as is gathering mature plants! But the most satisfying thing of all: maxing out the upgrades! You become an absolute powerhouse by the end of all this (and you'll need to be for the nightmarish final level).

Wow, you have episode 2 of the game.
Do you know where I can get it?

+Mahaveez And then in your quest for ultimate power you overflow the 5-digit counters and break everything. ;D
