I kind of wish games like these became a thing again. I honestly liked the arenas in this game. Instead of the vanilla small RL bowl ones in other games.
Trying to survive a bowl with the non-upgraded taxi is the only remotely challenging thing in this game. Don't get me wrong, it's one of my favourite PS2 games, but it's just painfully easy.
i can get it wihtout move, you can get it when the all cpu cars get full upgrades choose johnson and see all the presentation of the arena , and not move then the others die and you win with 60.000 scores xD, but if you choose Jared Crane and not move you die by the big hammer xD

This is so easy to be the last standing in this derby lol, especially with badass cars like LT Johnson Jr, Lady Cassandra, The Victim etc... 😉

four-iguy what? There is actually 24cars available in the game not only 12...or you maybe meant else then I don't get it
+Instant Karma if u play solo theres 24 cars on the map but if you play split screen theres only 12

Is there an emulator to play this on PC?
Yeah! PCSX2 is PC ps2 emulator. I've heard about there being some issues with this particular game but I've never tried emulating it before
So, I am emulating DDA and it's freaking awful. The game slows down a lot on parts where the game is not supposed to lose FPS on console
