Welcome back to BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐 Glad to see you're back with more BM songs and enjoying this new BM sound. For me L&D is another great pop rock ballad with beautiful SuMetal vocals piercing into our hearts. Love the J-pop sound from 2000 and the nostalgic vibes mixed with the edm sound. Here's some info about this song: _One of the discovered 10 parallel worlds is "LIGHT AND DARKNESS" and this 4th pre-release digital single “Light and Darkness” centers around this theme. Because light exists, darkness also exists._ _And because darkness is present, there is also a world that shines._ _During the night when light and darkness intersect, what we seek after poisoned with darkness awaits a world filled with strong love. As the door opens, is it hope or despair that awaits us? The song expresses the duality in everything and the way things are perceived and interpreted differ depending on each person’s point of view._ The live premiere was at BabyMetal Returns The Other One - Makuhari Messe 2023, there's an official MV but no live sound. Later on they played this once again during live concerts at PIA Arena MM Yokohama (April 1st - Fox Day and 2nd) which is the live version you just saw and when they announced MomoMetal becoming an official member.🍑❤️ Next suggestion: - Brand New Day feat. Tim Henson & Scott LePage live at FOX_FEST 2024. Thanks for sharing this. See you next time 🦊🤘❤
This song is absolutely amazing, and it is epic in so many subtle ways. The music alternates between a gentle feel and a heavy tone, while staying melodic, the off-timing drops that comes in creating tension, truly gives you that tension and contrast with the conflict between light and dark. Su-metal's vocals of course are incredible. Absolutely amazing!! Also, really looking forward to your reaction to the guide!! 🤘🦊
@@alexatakesalook Aaaaw yeah!! Haha. I’m sure others have mentioned: A Fox Song’s “Not So Extensive Guide to Babymetal” is great, and most up to date! 🤘🦊
Ooo I hope the guide is the "Not so extensive...." one by Fox song, I watched that recently and even though it's like 40 minutes it's really entertaining throughout.
Good reaction. The additional footage at the end was just a bizarre way the person who posted it found it would not be blocked. BABYMETAL do mix things up a lot. To be honest this song had to grow on me, what felt like a disco beat at the start threw me off on my first listen (I couldn't avoid it when I was growing up and I grew to really dislike it). Hearing the live version was a big help with the Kami Band's live instrumentals and a couple of subtle changes from how it was the studio version. You will love Black BABYMETAL when you see them ... and the guide will explain so much for you, I'm looking forward to that.
Loved this song from the intro to Su's soaring vocals and the courography and the backing vocals to the Kamis just soft backing to coming in stromg . The tones changing in Su's vocals shows just how great she is . Then, the emotion i feel during it . Check it again. There is so much to love about this performance 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼 Yippe, the guide 😃 hurray Doki Doki Morning live 😁
L&D is a pretty unusual Babymetal song because it's a straight up ballad, which isn't something they do very often. It blends some interesting stylistic elements that aren't typical for Babymetal with its dance beats and things. It's kind of a shame that it's only been performed live three times because it's a really unique change of pace for them.
Great reaction. This song has a very doom metal element from that guitar riff, and there's a very dark synth underneath it as well. It's quite contrasted to the very light piano and Su's vocals. Yes, I've tried lots of tricks to try to get this on TH-cam, the 3rd party streaming company likes to claim it despite them losing the copyright to it when the Blu-ray came out.

Had something to do with the copyright going to the right place!
👍👍An awesomely awesome performance. Great reaction. 🦊 🖖❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
I would say it's one of the most underrated Babymetal songs. However, fan sentiment seems to be rising for this song, so it's starting to get its due.
Strange. Some liked it straight away, and others warmed to it .
Loved it straight away. Always stick a request for it now and then on reactions .😁🤘🏼🦊

That is such a shame the copyright doesn't go to the right person :/
This song is beautiful but may be the toughest song for SU-METAL to sing.
