Ian has been such a great addition to the skating family. He has good energy that we need more of. The last 20 minutes I just had a huge smile on my face.
The commitment in Ian is impressive. I seen my friends in the past try to drop in an take a weaker slam then 90% of the slams Ian just took and they never got back up and tried again. Dude should be proud. I know we all are🤙🏻
The prue joy on Ian face when makes stuff priceless... No pressure Tony Jason Andy all watching .. You nailed it man and took some hits and got back up welcome to the world of skateboarding!!
Im 44 and picking up skating again. Id been daydreaming on it for a few years and Ian has motivated me big-time. I just want to have fun, like my teenage self
I’m 42 and definitely not as good as I was but it does feel good to be on the board again. Seems like a lot of guys from our generation are getting back into it, and that’s great to see.
@@therealjd1503I’m 43 and feel exactly the same same way as you two. I have a cruiser right now which has been good for getting my ankles and knees used to it again.. might have to get one of the RAT Boy boards 😂
Im 37 and im daydreaming too! I was never that good of a skateboarder but i think i will get a board again and try…i have an evolve e skateboard to carve around and for going to work, but thats something completely different…learning tricks again and try really hard to get better seems so fun in my mind. ❤
I love Ian so much and feel like he’s been so good for Jason. Watching Ian on the ramp, and the skate session at the end made me smile as big as he did, and I cheered out loud to my dog. This was so wholesome!! I’m down for long pods followed by lots of skating/coaching! The family support, whole crew chipping in and cheering on, shows what skate culture really is. ❤️🔥🤘🏼
Ian and you two just made the most positive fun podcast literally about the joy of living but also the joy of skateboarding. SO MUCH POSITIVITY, so fucking rad, serioulsy. I miss positive things in the world. Keep doing more of these style podcasts. Joy, laughter fun excitement happiness with so many more great vibe feelings from this episode. Thank you you made my day. Look how happy Ian is, Tony, Jason dont forget this is why people want to skate, to have fun, excitement and self discovery of endless possibilities for beginners to long time pros. I surf so I know that joy. Skateboarding is the same. If you dont have a smile on your face then its not for you. BLISS = skateboarding with friends and having fun. Thats whats inside this magical thing called skateboarding, especially ramps and the way up to vert skating. Make it it fun again please. More of this content is brilliant and shows how such a great community of people share the same JOY and Happiness.
The pure joy that Ian felt rolling away from that is so contagious and universal. all skaters recognize it. I still remember surviving my first drop in 40+ years ago - and regularly help new kids figure it out. His willingness to take the slam is 💪.
The session with Ian is pure infectious joy. I need more of Ian doing things he is pumped on. It makes me want to immediately go outside and find that joy in something.
Seeing a grown man have that much child like happiness watching them skate and when he's trying himself makes my day. Loving the longer episodes hope it stays that way.
Dude got taught to drop in by 3 freakin legends! That was amazing! And he did it. Way to go Ian! Best after session ever. Yall better clip this up immediately, put it everywhere
Proves that determination , heart, and the willingness to never quit will make you succeed. Greatreat job Ian! Skateboarding with your friends is the best, and being able to accomplish something that you've never done before is quite a great feeling! Thank you, Hawk vs. Wolf. Please don't stop creating this material so that we may enjoy it for the rest of our lives
This entire episode is amazing, but the end where you see true joy on their faces is so worth watching, it is amazing seeing someone learning and being so excited to be there.
That was just so good. I usually find Ian a little too obnoxious for my tastes, but after hearing his story and what skateboarding means to him I can relate and I see him in a new light. Thanks guys.
I love seeing how excited Ian is at the progress and the make. As a skateboarder who is getting back into it after a 10 year hiatus, this is the same joy I have making certain tricks again. Skateboarding is the best!
Such a feel good ending, love Ian, Tony and Jason. People working together to achieve a goal in such a loving and supportive way is some of the best shit.
This is the exact reason why I love skating, Tony and Jason, this GREAT POD, and this haven’t skated since 1987 when I was 14 and had knees that worked. Reminds me of how I want to live life and how easy it can be to be so positive. Love you guys.
I really enjoyed seeing ( being ) ian ( with jordan ) talk seriously about sobriety and his comedy. I never saw him talk serious about anything but i really liked it! ❤cool nice funny dude!
Ian Fidance is a true skateboarder. First drop ins, slams, and hippers met with his level of enthusiasm are fairly rare. Most people quit. Loved the vert skate session as well. Stacked against a beginner, you really see what magic Tony and Jason can conjure on their boards. This was positive, inspirational, and entertaining. Thanks for this.
that magical crossover of Ian and Jason with Comedy and Skateboarding makes this such an amazing dream come true. Ian and Jason are both living my dream from opposite perspectives
WTFF did TONY just drop a space ghost C2C reference ? i have never heard this show referenced by anyone else ever anywhere ... all hail the Hawk ! wh-wh-whaaaat aaaaaand a GAS FACE ! duuuuuude ! this whole episode was just smiles - thank you.
I’m a 32 year old dad named Tony. I’ve always looked at Tony Hawk as an idol, many years ago I was a skater, but watching this really makes me want to break out the board again. Ian is such a positive guy, one of my favorite human beings.
Such a great episode. The ending was perfect. Imagine being lucky enough to have Tony Hawk, Jason Ellis, AND Andy Anderson giving you some of your first ever skating tips. I'd be losing my mind
This is what is amazing about Skateboarding! Tony, Jason, and Andy all celebrated a drop-in that Ian was working so hard on like as if he just hit a NBD. I LOVE THAT!
When Ellis is going through these positive moments that people like Ian bring out of him it's truly magical. In the 2000's Jason actually had a signature Squier strat with the "balance" logo on it and I wanted it BAD. I vividly remember the ad in Guitar World magazine.
I know Ian from his podcast, but this episode makes me love him so much more! He’s such a joyous person and it was amazing to see his drive to learn to skate and the excitement he had with every moment. Amazing episode. I would love to see more of this type of content. It’s always fun to watch someone learn and to see everyone, no matter how skilled a skater, be stoked at the progress. What a cool group to be a part of
Ian Fidance is pure joy. It was great to see everyone pitching in to get him to be able to drop in. Add him to the repeat guest list please.
