Genuinely looks like they took a child's face, photoshopped it onto an adult body and then warped her face like those old E-cards your grandparents would send you at christmas
that's the thing. singing is an athletic skill true and through. there's so much understated physicality involved in vocal support, going up and down registers, and giving multifaceted matisse to a performance. so when you look at an image of an uncanny face moving its mouth, but nothing else, it strikes entirely contrary to what's naturally involved in singing. forget the passion. there's nothing even remotely reminiscent of even the most mediocre and flat "fight song" renditions at middle school talent shows.
As a person from the corn-infested hellhole that is Indiana, the flatness depends on how far north or south you are in the state. Farther north (past Bloomington, and especially up toward Indy and beyond) it gets pretty flat. In the southern portions (mostly southern third or so) it is extremely hilly, there's hills on hills and areas with small cliffs and miniature valleys. Nothing really gets to the level of mountains, but it's definitely not flat. Id recommend checking out the New Harmany State Park for a look into what some of the more natural landscape looks like.

The only time AI "art" is good is when it takes advantage of how bad AI is at replicating human thought processes. Like that video of an AI trying to complete System Blower by Death Grips or the ai_peter Family Guy videos.
Songs created entirely by AI should not be on streaming platforms, even if they were mixed/mastered by a human. And by the way TH-cam identifies Anna Indiana in this video, although it further is not a person, it is maximally wrong
I don't understand AI music. AI imagery has a certain uncanny, dreamlike look that I guess some people like (I don't but whatever.) AI text can be used for cheating on essays. What is the purpose of AI music? The only thing I can think of is tech bros who have lost all their humanity trying to reverse engineer something that brings people who still have souls joy.
I feel Ana Indiana decided pivot to country because she’d blend in a little easier there; feel like that music culture is less likely to notice that she’s an imposter, not like every other big country singer isn’t also an imposter.
6:50 Hmm, this may be a cultural thing, but where I'm from, It's completely normal to start text conversations with the name, like "Hey Mike, what's up?" Me and all my friends always start conversations with the name of the person we address. It seems more polite and personal that way.
Every time "she" "opens" "her" "mouth", I get this weird uncomfortable chill in my lower back and I either fast-forward, open spotify to drown it out, or pause the video... I've always been bad with cringe, but this like 20x worse than just listening to someone sing badly... The fact that it's very clearly MEANT to sound good makes it worse...

Ever since genres became formulaic, humans were eager to find a recipe, cater to trends, and reach the broadest audience possible. They tried to dumb it down so that little children and drunken people could still follow what’s going on. Well now, there is actually a machine that can do this. I’m not surprised.
It's going to be awful for a while. They can probably easily recreate major hits. And easily write pop song lyrics... But to actually write meaningful songs... No... That's not going to happen for a long time. If you are a musician who plays more than 3 chords, you probably have nothing to worry about.
my brain is bleeding out my ears at least the "AI [person or character] sings [actual song]" songs are musically coherent and don't sound like they were written by a drunk 7 year old
Music is like food: everyone has their likes and dislikes. I did not like the songs in the videos. But I can imagine many other people linking the songs: preteens, older people suffering from dementia but still able to enjoy hearing music, people who do not speak English (so they just hear the sound of her voice), people from very different cultures (e.g., a tribe deep within a jungle or desert), people from earlier periods of history (e.g., ancient civilizations for which this style of music would be strikingly novel), prehistoric humans who lived in caves and only had instruments made of wood, string, skin, and bone.
Called it two years ago that AI is actually going to suck and be nothing like the threat to music people anticipated. (Visual art is a different story, but for reasons too lengthy to type in a TH-cam comment, music is likely safe.)

Keep coping, AI music is getting so advanced, now, it's hard sometimes to even tell it a part from non-AI music, and it's only in it's infancy, which is really shocking.
@@nevadanate4957 Won't work, AI music is the same as remixing, just like people do when creating music.
@@theurbanyouth remixes pay royalties and are consciously made. And remixes are not all or even the majority of created music. A court will decide what AI music is legally and I really think you should brace for it to not go your way.
People said the same about techno. Soulless music is not new
I remember when Taylor had already announced the titles of her latest album and people on TikTok started spreading ai versions of the songs based on the titles, saying the album had leaked. And like. Nothing swifties have ever said about Taylor was as offensive as believing those tracks were actually her writing lmao
Even when AI music becomes good, it will still be awful. Art should be made by artists, not computers.
Absolutely
You mean how art was created the last 25 years? 90% of all music you hear right now is made by computers. Autotune = AI like literally. The dude under your comment also uses Autotune on most of his songs. Hilarious. As a longtime writer I will tell every Singer from now on that they are no Artists. Because they only sing what I write.
@@FalloutTributeMusic autotune is a tool used by artists, the creating part is still made by artists. AI is not the same

3:07 Anthony got a little twanged up by Anna Indiana.
Forget how robotic she SOUNDS, why doesnt anyone talk about how robotic she LOOKS? Only the face moves, the rest of her body and head are so stationary that its incredibly obvious and the first thing I notice.
Rick Beato “I admit it…I got owned”

WHAT
Nah
Yes, it is

Water is NOT wet
Ai is inevitably irritating and I hate it
I want to be her songwriter, I can write some really lazy shitty lyrics:
You slept with Stacy,
You slept with Tracy,
You slept with Lacy,
You slept with Macy,
All while dating me,
Now we all got an STD,
My oh my,
I thought we were all AI,
So how did it happen?
It doesn't even ryme.
4:56 saying goodbye isn't easy thuu
debut single was notable enough to make an honorable mention in worst songs of the year and now she gets under 1k streams per track. this might be the hardest fall off of the century
For a fall off u have to be up first
In other words, Disney is evil, and the sky is blue.
Checked up "her" TH-cam profile. Very weird and telling that you cannot block that channel. You can block any channel you want if it's a human. Of course you can still report it, but for what? It's not like "Anna Indiana" is going to violate youtube guidelines or activate their copyright bots.
I am feeling called out. I enjoy saying people's names, so i text it too like "I hope you have a great sleep X, miss you!" "Hey Y, hope your workday is easy!" "Z, why do lemons taste so good".
As a Hoosier (someone from Indiana) I think I speak on behalf of a great majority of us that we do not accept this amalgam of inputs and outputs as representing us and would prefer our name representation being kept to Indiana Jones.
I love that the first video recommendation is Rick Beato taking an L. 😂
This is the comment I was looking for lol
5:52 The ai Lore is crazy 😂😂
The only time AI "art" is good is when it takes advantage of how bad AI is at replicating human thought processes. Like that video of an AI trying to complete System Blower by Death Grips or the ai_peter Family Guy videos.
I miss when AI videos meant that video of the rock eating spaghetti.
Batman written by an ai is insanely good too
ai generated 800k word ben shapiro crack fic on AO3
@@erinbeaud4556 He was eating actual rocks.
@@carultch you’re right, it was Will Smith who ate the spaghetti.

There are actually two good AI songs: "My Arms are Fucking Stuck Like This" and "I Glued My Balls to my Butthole Again"
that’s bc real people wrote them and then used AI to do the audio
Almost like AI is a useful tool or something
hey oh,I don't know what I say,no.
I can't finish this for obvious reasons. But isn't "she" off beat at 4:30? The "moving on gets harder" line feels very bad.
I wouldnt say she's off beat but def off key
She sorta looks like miranda cosgrove
I was thinking she looks like if Sarah Hyland got lip injections
saying “she’s letting the stars and bars fly” in relation to having a southern accent is so funny to me lmao
Reminds me of that bit in Rick and Morty where Jerry is in the car listening to "human music"
Most music made in the last 30 years is technically AI music
sound enhancements, reverb, auto-tune, sfx, etc
@@lockytonight5110 Nope. Made with a computer isn't the same as made by a computer. Production is not AI.
The goal is to create a money printer. They don't care if the music is soulless, only whether they can easily profit from it.
People still like it nonetheless. BBL Drizzy was AI made
The thing about intrusive thoughts is they exactly do the opposite of passing by

I feel Ana Indiana decided pivot to country because she’d blend in a little easier there; feel like that music culture is less likely to notice that she’s an imposter, not like every other big country singer isn’t also an imposter.

The ultimate problem here is that most real music is trash so the competition AI has is not all that challenging to over come.
6:50 Hmm, this may be a cultural thing, but where I'm from, It's completely normal to start text conversations with the name, like "Hey Mike, what's up?" Me and all my friends always start conversations with the name of the person we address. It seems more polite and personal that way.

If that’s what AI believes to be the best of us…there’s no point to keep humans around.

okay atleast this guy did lol
I hate AI. My life was better without it.
As someone who has lived their entire life in Indiana. She perfectly represents how flat and awful the state is.
“Indiana? I hear it’s so flat up there you can watch your dog run away from home for three days!”- Some old timer down Alabama way when I told him where I was from.

We need a need a monthly Anna Indiana update
my brain is bleeding out my ears
at least the "AI [person or character] sings [actual song]" songs are musically coherent and don't sound like they were written by a drunk 7 year old
The staring-into-the-back-of-your-soul-thing is beyond the uncanny valley... My blood vessels crawled...
FYI the northern half of Indiana is pretty flat, but it gets quite hilly in the southern part -- no volcanoes though!
Think about it. Has anyone ever actually met someone from Indiana? I don't think it actually exists.
Hi, Indiana person here.
These bot replies getting ridiculous
Music is like food: everyone has their likes and dislikes. I did not like the songs in the videos. But I can imagine many other people linking the songs: preteens, older people suffering from dementia but still able to enjoy hearing music, people who do not speak English (so they just hear the sound of her voice), people from very different cultures (e.g., a tribe deep within a jungle or desert), people from earlier periods of history (e.g., ancient civilizations for which this style of music would be strikingly novel), prehistoric humans who lived in caves and only had instruments made of wood, string, skin, and bone.
I truly hate this world we're creating.
3:28 Fantano low key sending subs @ Beato.
whats fucked up is that video isnt even related to melon's video
Called it two years ago that AI is actually going to suck and be nothing like the threat to music people anticipated. (Visual art is a different story, but for reasons too lengthy to type in a TH-cam comment, music is likely safe.)
These songs feel so like. Attempts to be manipulative that fall flat because its obviously not real at all. None of it is real. She doesn't have a mom, she isn't 24 lmao
If a real person sang with that body position and affect you might think there was a medical issue.
