Gautam Buddha's Eightfold Path, also called ASTANGA MARG, is the way to reach enlightenment, nirvana, self realisation, eternal bliss, joy, and happiness, which are the ultimate goals of all spiritual seekers. Raga, or attachment, and repulsion, or DVESHA, are the twin demons at the heart of all human distress. It is possible to purify the mind of all its accumulated emotional wounds and mental impurities, clearing the path to enlightenment, by pursuing the Eightfold Path. In order to succeed, we must cultivate the correct mindset, motive, speech, action, livelihood, awareness, effort, and focus. The method of Vipassana is ideal for this purpose. If we can achieve enlightenment, we can free ourselves from all of life's trials and enjoy a state of bliss that never fades.
