Was Siddhartha Gautam sentenced to death?
This video is about the causes and circumstances that led to Siddhartha Gautama’s banishment from his own kingdom and his life history from birth util becoming an ascetic. Siddhartha Gautama was called the Buddha after his Enlightenment. The word Buddha is his title. His disciples called him Bhagavan which means the Lord or the Blessed one. Buddha was born 2600 years ago in a clan of warriors and taught Dharma for 45 years until his last breath. He asked people to take refuge in Buddham (Jnana) Dharma (Cosmic laws) and sangam (togetherness). He is not a mythological figure but a historical person. He was only the founder of a religion who never claimed that he was God, God's messenger or a suprahuman being. He is the first psychologist and mind expert in human history and did great search and research, and followed many austerities to find the truth about human destiny and predicament. After six years of very great penance, he discovered a way called Astangamarg - an eight fold path to get rid of people's sorrow and live a serene and blissful life. He taught people what he did and did what he taught them. He lived a very simple ascetic life. He ate only one meal a day for 45 years from His Enlightenment until his death. He collected his meals by begging alms. By following Buddha's teachings one can live fearlessly, peacefully and blissfully.

Very interesting to learn new things about Siddarth Gowtham. Since my childhood, in my school academics and the writings of many writers, I learnt the history of Siddarth Gowtham differently. I don't know which version is true.
If your version is true, there must be sufficient evidence and I don't know if you did any research about Siddharth Gowtham.
However I feel that it may not be so easy to gather exact information about the past incidents which were not written as a history. Historians have to write the true facts and may ascertain certain facts through assumptions and have to be mentioned as they were assumptions only.
Hence I consider that both the information in this video and the already existing literature about Siddarth Gowtham are viable. I appreciate the zeal to know more about Gowtham Bhudda.
In the present events existing in the world , the teachings of Gowtham Bhudda acquired utmost importance. The thinking of different people who are divided into different countries, Religions and thoughts must realise the realities and must think scientifically. Try to know about the teachings of Gowtham Bhudda!!!

They added many fictitious things in his hagiography. You can see this incident that occurred in Siddhartha’s life in Buddha and his Dhamma by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. DD Kosambi also mentioned it.
