I've always believed and acted in this way since my youth times. I've faced a lot of criticism mostly from close family members but I've always stood my ground. I'm 53 and still don't believe in any religion, which I consider to be mere cults. Listening to this clip has satisfied me immensely. Thank you for posting.

Religions do not need reasons to exist. People are not very reasonable creatures, and it is natural.
I have seen brothers killing each other, so religion is just a catalyst, humans are born with conflicting nature.
There have been numerous religious wars for thousands of years but people aren't tired of religions yet. Perhaps it's because religions are under the control of the ego and egos never let go of their attachments.
And thousands of wars that had nothing to do with religion. What's your point?
Osho was blessed with the vision of seeing the world exactly as it is. Christians should be reminded it was the so-called religious people who called for the crucifixion of Jesus, and who facilitated in the poisoning of this greatly enlightened man Osho.

Word Religion in sanskrit: not exists
Dharma has nothing to do with religion. Dharma means a right moral conduct. History of bhartvashi 3000 ago have never used word "hindu" for themselves or any other word for demacrating their religion. Because the vedas have never used such words neither bhagvad gita has used it. The people recognised themselves as bharatvasi or from a kul.

Some ex-Muslims and ex-Christians should take some notes from this quote. One can leave their religion because of obvious reasons, but still end up being unable to deny some religious claims. In the back of their mind, their belief will be only renamed into 'disbelief', hence why their ignorant mindsets won't change. This is why applying critical thinking is so important before leaving a religion, y'know?

Even Osho was scared of talking about Islam which comes to the lowest in the rank when it comes to true religiousness. True religion is powerful enough to stand on its own feet because of its ideology and clarity in those ideologies which have only one purpose to guide a human being to become the best version of himself/herself. It doesn't need anyone's forceful implication because it only needs the exploration of man/woman to know his/her true self, the only thing it needs is purity in its form.
Islam was not that radical that time as it is today. It's only after the spread and influence of Wahhabism that it started becoming radical. But still Osho did speak a lot about the conservatism in Islam although he was still fond of Sufism.

I always tell religious people that the creator cannot be limited to a mere book that is dependent on so many things to convey its message, like language, paper, ink and vulnerable to interpretation, corruption in text, etc etc.
To help them understand I use the term "Inner book", which is just an attempt to bring their attention to the real "book" that is inside all human beings and animals alike (although they cannot be conscious of it), the book that isn't bound by language, by grammar, by words or interpretation and that is accessible to every human being on the planet with a certain striving and practice.
