Not sure if this helps but when I read, I usually sit comfortably, and put on some relaxing music (let me know if you want to know which kind, I could give recommendations.) I also sometimes read with a pen or highlighter so that I can track my words, its very helpful and feels different from using your finger. Let me know if this helps!
How come we are reading the same book at the moment 😀😀I too get distracted and sleepy when reading , what I do to say awake is to leave the book for sometime, listen to some music or take a walk and resume back to reading cause I feel refreshed after doing some other things.
If I want to accomplish some read8ng I “sit” in a quiet place or drink some tea but make sure your sitting up cause laying down and reading drains you more
