Yo this is wild. So this is like the Jared Dines Shred Collab but for post rock, and I love it. I don't know if this channel is still active, or if any more collab videos are coming since it's been over 7 months since this video came out, but I hope there are more. There are so many things that you could do with this idea! For starters, this video was almost mostly guitarists. The violinist was great, but hopefully you get more instruments in here. Some bassists doing their thing, some drummers doing their thing, etc. Then you've got maybe projects that have more changes in them. Different sections and transitions, and everyone gets assigned a section. Oh look, When Waves Collide is doing this heavier section in B minor, ooooh snap Arctic Rise is doing the softer section in D major with a sick drum solo. I know that coordinating and collaborating with people can be a time-consuming and difficult thing to do, but this is so cool that ideas just started to fly lol
What is that blue thing connected to the focusrite on 4:17? That must be and external sound card but i cant find such. I am fighting with latency and that must the solution there, an external USB sound card connected to the focusrite
What a fantastic job from everyone involved! How can I become a part of the community? I’ve been trying to get a band going for ages but it seems like no one’s even heard of post rock in this godforsaken town. Would love to be able to collaborate with like minded people all across the globe and make some awesome music together.
it's been a while since a postrock song made me hit that repeat-one button in the first couple of seconds since it started. big up to all contributors, this sounds amazing!
I have been listening to this on Spotify without knowing what this actually is. Result: subscribed
