A belated comment from someone who's just recently found your channel : I can totally relate to your flylady emails comment. They completely overwhelmed me back in 2005 when I tried her system for the first time. It also added to a feeling of failure because I wasn't a wife and mother. Back in 2005, her system was very much for homemakers and homeschooling homemakers. So, I would feel like I couldn't do the system because I didn't see myself there. This is my third try this year and the third try is a keeper. 🙂 It's also an answer to prayer. The Lord nudged me back to the Flylady system. It feels different this time. I'm starting to be consistent with the weekly home blessing that I do on Saturday mornings and I'm already noticing the difference. And I'm adjusting things and experimenting rather than being a perfectionist (which I most certainly was back in 2005!)
I’m so excited the third time is the charm. It worked that way for me too. I never found people who struggled with it so I felt alone. I don’t want anyone to go through the isolation I felt.
I like your honesty. It sounds like you know us. I am single with a dog. And new to your channel. Ill keep on watching so I get your tips and the energy. I love the shine your sink and that is as far as I've incorporated so far. Thank you girl!!!!
Thank you on so many levels. You have said so many things I have been feeling. *The app, mine is missing the timer also. I have searched and I emailed the app company, I have emailed Fly Lady also. I have left comment after comment and have had no response from anyone. *ADHD.. me too... Undiagnosed but I am sixty years old. No one talked about this when I was growing up. *Fly lady website, is way too crazy for my brain. But her system is terrific. I can't believe no one listens and changes the website to make it more updated and less crazy town. You are wonderful and I appreciate all your hard work making videos. Thank you 🥰

So glad to have found your channel. I have ADD and I’m not in my 20s so I find you relatable. A couple of questions…1. What do you do if you have a family room and living room? Where do you put that extra room? 2. I get hung up on the Monday blessing. Finding an hour seems hard. Plus I feel like it would take much longer than an hour. Any suggestions?
Terri, when watching Flylady Kat about the morning routine, her version of Swish and Swipe is the inside of sinks and the cleaning the toilets, so when do the bathroom counters get wiped ? ?
I wipe my counters and sink all at once and swish the toilet. If I have makeup out I quickly put it away. I alternate bathrooms so I hit my master on Monday, 1/2 bath #1 & #2 on Tues, upstairs bath on Wed, and then back to start again. There is no right or wrong way to do it. Just do what makes sense to you. I like to wipe and straighten but it only takes 2-3 min, no more.
I’m a new follower, but I really enjoy your videos. As for Christmas, one year I decorated Nov. 1. I really enjoyed that year. But, I pretty much feel like I have to wait until after TG. But it’s so hard to wait!! Lol. And, I leave it up until The Epiphany. At least the tree and lights. I wish we had another holiday in January that needed lights. Lol
I am starting to understand early decorating. Last year was a blur and I almost cried when I needed to take it down after just a few weeks since it takes so long to put it all out!
Very late to the party but Terri, you look great and are quickly becoming a fav. Redoing 31 Baby Steps right now (Day Six) and you are doing it, girlfriend😍‼️❣️
I'm glad you have the discipline to manage cleaning. Naturally messy people need structure and details to address things they are not keeping up with. Thank you for watching.
