    I’m experiencing so many different emotions with this. It’s so many layers to it. Andre 3000, The Dramatics in the background, the late great Ron Banks’ voice, Biggie’s voice, Total’s no one else remix beat, Biggie & DMX! Rest In Peace. Hearing DMX protect, reassure & encourage his daughter brought me to tears. This is an instant classic, the type of music that music lovers crave. I love this, it’s completeness and substance for me. Kanye’s depth and vast knowledge of music, and his ear for it. Sounds like Chicago in the Summertime, mixed with an old school basement party.

    It's a nostalgic song about mourning parental loss. We're remembering the special people who are no longer here, but their presence and influence are still felt. Ye and Andre do this on a personal level by mourning the ghosts of their parents, but they also remind us of the forefathers of hip-hop who've also since left us. Even bringing back Andre 3000 was bringing back a living ghost before it departs like how B.I.G and DMX did - a reminder that we need to love people when they are still alive. Genius

    " Miss Donda , you see my momma tell her I'm lost "💔
    lost my mom at the age of 7 , I never really got to know her & that gets to me everytime just wondering what kind of person she was . I'm now 21 & went through quite alot from being mistreated by stepmother to losing my father at 19 whilst writing my final exam at high school , being affiliated with street shit(because I lost guidance) , to living outside my comfort zone for some years coz I had to move out from my father's house , while tryna figure out a way to make it out the hood but then had to watch some of my dreams go down the drain due to certain circumstances.
    Constantly wondering how my life would be like if my dad & mom was still alive.💔
    Andre verse got me so emotional & took me all the way back , felt that shit in my fucking soul.

    The paparazzi never really got what my angle is
    They treat my married life like some type of entanglement
    My neighbor still dissin', wonderin' why I ain't sayin' it
    I can smell the setup, that's that 2Pac in Vegas hit".
    This is elite poetry from Ye. Kendrick’s good too, but never quite nails the music as Kanye’s. Ain't no one can beat Kanye’s talent in that studio room.

    With 2 Ye verses, 3K part is still most replayed on loop. GOAT🐐
    Even wilder, Andre has a tone, timbre, and texture to his voice that seemingly only gets better over time. Every year that passes I feel like his verses get that much richer, coupled with his rare, alien like appearances. All whilst sounding so laid back like it took a few second to perfect. Like you asked him a question and he answered

      Andre is good but Ye is the greatest, he washed Dre here.

    • @0pride809
      @0pride809 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @Djhiphop1000000000 Definitely disagree he "washed" him. 3 stacks introspective and clever verse laid an excellent foundation for this track and instrumental that I think Ye took away from even with his. Whereas Dres verse was focused on the tied connection of their mothers and wandering thoughts that tie back into them, Ye' focus feels like it shifts multiple times. While still a decent verse in comparison, there's a disconnect I feel between the verses in the 1st version of this song and in this version respectively.

    • @Djhiphop1000000000
      @Djhiphop1000000000 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@0pride809 that’s what makes it better.
      Ye was more real and emotional. More vulnerable.
      He was venting everything out. But also still remaining on topic.
      And then his cleaned up verse is entirely focused and potent. Dre is good but it’s basic poetry. It’s the classic God speaking through the world. It’s not a new concept and it’s not executed to some other level. It’s just good. It’s Kanye who brings this incredible energy and emotion.

    • @0pride809
      @0pride809 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's ultimately a taste thing and opinion, especially if you were looking for a certain energy

    • @0pride809
      @0pride809 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Djhiphop1000000000 Ye venting his truths and experiences like he is doesn't make it more "real". Dre's verse was every bit as real as Ye's because they both came from a personal space. As stated the rest is opinion but though not the most technical 3k verse, I think it fits better than Ye's
