UMBYRLEIN, TANGNOP & NOHWANG FALLS || MESMERIZING WATERFALLS ||EAST JAINTIA HILLS || MEGHALAYA ||

Today we explore three more amazing waterfall in Rangad & Lumskhen villages near Rymbai in East Jaintia Hills. We reached the area mid day and started hiking to the first waterfall, Umbyrlein Falls. Gavin has already been here 2 years ago with Nebel. Today he takes me, Daniel & Kunsang along.
The hike is an easy hike. Barely took 20 mins to reach the waterfall. On the way, the scenery was very beautiful. However, since the hike is easy, there were many tourists, mostly from Assam & some from as far as Rajasthan. The beauty of the waterfall surely draws a crowd.
It was 4:30pm & we decided to leave for the other waterfalls. We drove to Lumshken village & started our hike to Tangnop Waterfall. On the way, we could see Nohwang waterfall perched in the middle of a hill. At 5:45pm, we reached the top of Tangnop waterfall. We tried our best to located the path to reach the bottom of the waterfall but we could not find it. So after a few photos, we moved on towards Nohwang waterfall. It was dark by the time we reached & could barely take a proper photo.
Since, it was 6:20pm already & it was totally dark so we had to skip the third waterfall, Rangtep waterfall which was downstream of Tangnop.
We crossed the stream pitch dark & reached the car at 7:00pm
All the three waterfalls were gorgeous & were definitely Worth The Trek (WTT).
