Thank you! I've been trying to make adjustments and I like the settings right now so good to know that it sounds well :) I'll definitely share once it's up and running! 🥰
Your audio sounds good. I have watched your older videos, the use of microphone is a great improvement. So excited for your online shop. You have beautiful plants. 😊
Im on night shift at the hospital and on my lunch break now watching your video!! Lol it is a struggle to have a regular schedule. Thank you so much for your content though. It is so helpful to see your process and decisions in repotting!! Can’t wait for the website!!
Also I can't wait for your shop, anything grown by you would be a treat.I love your videos and the knowledge you share. But really I just love spending time with you planty or not planty content.
It's just hit spring here in Australia and have so many reports to do, and instead of starting that, I've just got home from buying 2 more plants. I love your videos ❤️
Thank you so much! haha it's hard to get motivated to repot when there is so much to do at once! It feels overwhelming so I delay things and buying more plants too haha.
Can’t wait to see your plant website. I’ll certainly look it up. And you have my plant problems too. Finding some place to put new plants. I can’t pay them Out now the temp at night is down to 40-50’s. Going to have to ask for a heat pack. But I’m putting myself on a plant ban till I some how find a new place to put new plants in.
Tortum was my number one wishlist plant for a long time. I've now had two(I combined them together)for over a year and it remains in my top 5 favorites 😊. The new leaves are the coolest!
Hi Melissa, I see some TH-camrs advertising square space to create and manage their own websites. I have no idea of the coast but it’s worth checking it out. Good luck!
Hi there! I’m a software developer. There are always students that want to build for you for a really low cost. I did it when I was learning. Then I was able to use those websites in my portfolio so it was a win for both parties!
sound is good on this vid. when i got my tortum, it was a baby plant in a 5inch pot, ngl was worried I'd kill it. Its doing well tho, and grew into the pot, the leaves are growing huge.
I actually have a beautiful tortum that has leaves that size, and found what I thought was a very mature one last weekend so I purchased it at a great discount. Then I found out the one that I thought was “mature" was actually called a wide form. The leaves are physically about the same length, and the actual leaf tissue areas are wider/thicker. I had no idea!
Ahh thank you for noticing!! 🥳 You're awesome! I've been messing around with a little of both camera and audio for several days. I still have lots to learn but putting it on hold for now while I focus on website stuff. Glad it's better!! ☺️
Still given justice for those not-so-love plants💯, i know! Haha They'd be growing more beautiful after the repot for sure!💯 And that glimpse of hoya red on trellis is so stinkin' cute!🤤 Thanks for this long video, I hope there's more ahead.😊
I like this style of repotting video, and I also like the idea of a Q&A video! Your plants all look so great! 🤩🪴 I think the audio sounds really good, I can turn it up & it’s loud & clear! I love to watch your videos while also doing plant chores 😊
Hi , sound is great and looking forward to your shop knowing how much you care for plants. Questions: micorasen is this like super thrive?. Sorry about the spelling. And have you ever used liquid fertilizer and why do you use the time release, maybe the amount of plants you care for?. Thanks have a nice weekend
Thank you! superthive is like a multivitamin so it gives a little nutrient boost I mostly use after repotting to reduce shock. The mycorrhizae are beneficial fungi that can help the roots develop more and can allow the plant to uptake more nutrients. I use slow release because it's easier for me since I do have a lot of plants but would be open to trying a liquid out :)
Very nice videos. What are you using for your site? Shopify would probably be the easiest and most straight forward. You should (in theory) be able to set something up pretty efficiently yourself. Adding and managing products along with selling is well organized.
Hello, I enjoy your videos. Do you have a video or make one showing step by step how you create your soil potting mixture and the listed items used. Thank you.
I made one not too long ago for my normal DIY and for my moss pole mix. This new one I haven't shared a video yet on it because I am still playing around with the ingredients and seeing how it goes but once I do feel like I like it and it's working well then I will definitely share more!
I’m so ready for your store girl!!!! I have to get my hands on one of your aurea cuttings! I’d never thought I would ever have the chance! This is going to be so cool to be growing a baby from your mama (of course if I’m lucky enough to snag one lol) this video was so chill and the perfect way to end a busy first full week of school for all my kiddos ❤❤❤
And you already have 34k in followers since quittin 🎉🎉🎉 That’s awesome! I too was always a night owl from bartending my whole life. Staying up til 330 am was the norm for me. I love the nights tho…..so quiet and peaceful 😂
I still can't believe it! 🥹 I feel like it has gone by soo fast! Yes! I love how quiet it is at night haha. It's so peaceful! I feel like there's less distractions too so I can usually focus more on things :)
I don't think I like it. I didn't notice much of a change and then I was dealing with so much root rot and fungal issues this summer that I just wanted to go back to osmocote haha. It did so well for me last summer. I bought some Cal mag to start using in addition but honestly forgot about it so I need to look into that. I know osmocote doesn't have Ca and one of the reasons I wanted to look into something else but I love using slow release.
what is the soap mixture you are spraying with and what is it for please? i have a tortum that has black spots on the back of the leaves. do you know what that might be and how to treat?
this perlite is so inexpensive here and honestly not really wanting to take the time to try and sanitize it by baking. I'm not sure how well it would work :/
PS. GReat audio. You sound fine on my end. I love your calming voice. lol. Sometimes I go on a bindge watching your videos. I do a lot of late nights as well. Wish you did more videos more frequently. More vidoes is what I am trying to say lol.
Thank you so much! 🥹 I really appreciate that! I try to do 3 uploads a week but editing is what takes me the longest. It depends on video length too of course and some just take longer regardless but definitely something I want to improve on!
We don't :) We leave the patio door slightly open so they can go in and out of it. It's all glass so I never thought about a cat door before 🤔 I wonder if something like that would work haha now I will be thinking about that.
My partner does web design and has experience with setting up online stores, etc. if you do decide you need help with your site 😊 I can ask him to reach out to you x
The audio sounds good to me! Love your videos and can't wait for the website.

So excited for spring here in Melbourne!!! It's cold right now but Tuesday onwards looks beautiful
Thank you so much! haha it's hard to get motivated to repot when there is so much to do at once! It feels overwhelming so I delay things and buying more plants too haha.
My impression is that when hoya names have a color at the end it refers to the bloom color
oh cool! I didn't know that :)
Do what Kevin does. He counts 1, 2, 3 cut and he cuts it. Works well when you aren’t sure about cutting.
Can’t wait to see your plant website. I’ll certainly look it up. And you have my plant problems too. Finding some place to put new plants. I can’t pay them

Sound is perfect.
Thank you!! 🥰
I have a tiny baby Tortum but I still love it! Hopefully your plants thrive for you 💚💚💚
Thank you so much!! 🥰
I like white pots too.

Glad you like them! :)
How exciting!!! I can't wait for your online shop! Your audio is fine.
Yay! Thank you so much!!
The adansonii aurea is so much prettier to me than the albo. I love your videos. Greetings from Stellenbosch South Africa
Thank you!! 🫶

There’re getting big; thanks for sharing the update.

I applied for an LLC through legal zoom so they were offering wix. Going to try and set up an online store through there and see how it goes!

I’m a former nightshift person and I stayed up till 5 am the other night. I do this on occasion.
Audio is great!
ahhh I love the way tortums look I got one from etsy but it's so tiny I'm pretty sure I overwatered it 😂 I need a big one
oh no! I hope it'll be okay!
Your audio sounds good and it's just like watching a t.v. show.
Thank you so much! ☺️
Your audio is good, you sound great 😃❤️
I can't wait for your website I'm so excited for you! I wish I knew how to design websites and stuff I would help you for Free
Thank you! you are so kind 🥺 I appreciate that :)
I noticed you went back to Osmacote. I watched another video you did where you where trying out Dymo. How did that go? I asume not well?
I don't think I like it. I didn't notice much of a change and then I was dealing with so much root rot and fungal issues this summer that I just wanted to go back to osmocote haha. How cold does it really get there in Savannah. ?
We're in zone 8b so it can get way below freezing :)
What about using Square space to help you design your site?
I applied for an LLC through legal zoom and they were offering wix so trying to set one up through there. I have heard of square space though :)
Most mychoreze can be watered in.
Can't you just boil or bake the perlite to sterilise it?
this perlite is so inexpensive here and honestly not really wanting to take the time to try and sanitize it by baking. I'm not sure how well it would work :/
hoyas root on the whole stem, so why did you cut of the bare section on the undulata? It could have supported the bottom node
Yes, I know they root on the whole stem :) I didn't want a long stem to prop
Audio is still good
Thank you!! :)
I think the audio has been perfect.
Thank you!! 🥰

Yay! Thank you!
Do you notice a difference when using mycorrhizal fungi? Does it cause root rot when sprinkling on the roots? @plantsbymelissa
It's definitely helped roots grow! I love using it. I haven't had any issues with rot with sprinkling it on vs in the soil :)
@@plantsbymelissa thank you 😊. Is there a brand you would recommend?
