Volunteering in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru: My Worldpackers Experience

- While I was travelling through Peru I wanted to do a volunteering experience with Worldpackers in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru, to get a unique travel experience. Volunteering with Worldpackers gives you the opportunity to travel to places most tourists don't get to know, such as the Amazon Rainforest. You will be able to connect with locals, practise a new language and have a positive impact while travelling in a more sustainable way.
My experience with Worldpackers in the Amazon Rainforest was super unique and unforgettable. I supported a project as a volunteer deep in the Amazon Rainforest, where we took care of preserving the Amazon Rainforest and taking care of animals in an animal shelter. Besides that community work and permaculture was also part of the volunteering project.

The work Worldpackers do to protect the Amazon Rainforest is very important. They are literally saving our lives.✌
aww, thanks for your support
In that case it’s Amozonas who is protecting the rainforest. But yes, Worldpackers is providing a great platform to connect volunteers with organisations around the world that do sustainability work and many other things 😍
This is like a documentary! Incredibly made! What an amazing experience and beautiful message😊
Thank you! I’m happy to hear that you like it ☺️
Muy bueno el intro del video! 🙌 y todo lo que hacen ahí 🔝
Gracias 🥰
Alina, this made me tear up in the best ways, thank you so much for your support, having seen all of what you remembered and shared so beautifully I will take the oportunity to add and emphasize
that my efforts are shared with my local friends, born right here, and all the projects under the AMOzonas umbrella are only possible because of my friends and co workers, that teach me so much as well. They are all exceptional conservationists and next to our forest and volunteer management, I am just also the english and german speaking spokesman of Ricardo (permaculture educational management), Cesar(animal sanctuary management), Yonatan (botanical garden management) and many more of the Amozonas project 🙏
I am so touched you feel my love for everything we do, and I really want to shine the light on the people born here in the amazon rainforest who fight the fight way longer than anyone else against the biggest threats to old growth forests like the clearing for illegal coca trafic, mining (gold/gas) and large scale agriculture with heavy chemicals to sell elsewhere as well as soy for cattle (beef), all of which originate by colonialization and its global aftermath. My gratitude to have the honor joining forces with the hearts of the Amazon and connect our life paths and intentions to keep our mutual home forest with all its wildlife thriving for the health and future of the community right here and ultimately of course as the lung of the world.
Thank you Daniel for this amazing and unforgettable experience! I really had a great and educational time that I will never forget 🥰
I wish you all the best for your projects and keep up the great work which is so important for all of us 🫶🏼
It is a Beautiful Project Alinaa. My respects to Daniel and you, I was impressed by the topic of the biologists, since I did not imagine them with so much interaction with the Amazon jungle and that biologists built houses and lived in the jungle, I imagined them on expeditions and only that, The Introduction of the Video, Too Cool. !! The images with the Drone, The jungle itself.
It is a life experience to always remember, haha thanks for sharing it ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺Arribaaaa Alinaaa!!
Thanks a lot Rafael for your feedback! And yes, it really was a great experience and an amazing project! I learnt a lot but most of all I am happy to be able to share these kinds of projects here to increase awareness about such important topics ☺️
Excellent video Alina ❤ congratulations for volunteering for these types of activities, it's always important to be responsible and protect the fauna of each place for the preservation of the life of the different ecosystems, animals, ourselves and that it truly finds a balance, for example, in the amazon jungle or other types of forests, massive deforestation of trees and plants is not carried out, depending on the activity carried out by man, where this is the path to the extinction of animals and the pollution of the planet, it's very admirable what the worldpackers do to protect the amazon rainforest of Peru in this case 👍 I loved the video
Thanks a lot for your feedback! It means a lot and I’m very happy that you enjoyed this video. You said something very important: we need to find a balance. Unfortunately a lot of places are just being exploited which is not sustainable at all and causes huge problems for our planet.
You're welcome, Venezuela became the first country in the world to run out of glaciers due to the combustion of coal, gas and oil, which unfortunately is one of the factors that causes the emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere 😥 yes, we need a balance so as not to damage our ecosystems too much.
@@antonioadventure I’ve read about that… It’s terrible 😣

Gracias Tania!

Amazing video. I’m shocked TH-cam is blocking your reach with 500 views in 2 weeks. This is why I quit TH-cam. So much work and they block us. 😢
It’s a shame you gave up on TH-cam so quickly. Almost no TH-camr was born over night, most need months of not years to really become successful. But I understand that if you don’t fully enjoy the filming and editing process, it may not be worth all the effort.
I personally love to share my experiences and I’m very happy that people like you are watching and enjoying my videos ☺️ Thanks a lot for your feedback!
