- Hi sewing friends! Happy New Year! I’m discussing all my sewing plans for 2023, plus my new Mood Fabrics Designer Sewing Planner. Here’s a link to the planner! www.moodfabric...
These videos are always well done and helpful. You got this Raven Maureen !!
Thank you Peggy!!
I look forward to your 52 looks!
Sewing has also helped me accept the number on my scale/clothing tags. Now I can make what I want how I want and me selecting patterns does not have to affect my mood.♥️
That planner looks helpful!
Thank you! And sewing has definitely helped me to forget the number size. 😁
Raven, I love your videos. As I said in a comment before that you are so real and I love that. Got my fingers crossed that you will meet your goals. You can do it. Can’t wait to see your makes. HAPPY 2023!
Thank you Jean! I appreciate your kind words!!
I'm excited to see these 52 makes! Also me, who tracks her sewing plans via a Google Sheet is now considering that planner 🤣
Lol I used to use Google sheets too!! Time for an upgrade!
Here for you when talking about the sizes and numbers of my projects. Love the 52 project idea, but remember that organizing your stash can also be a project! So sorting and planning can also tick those boxes. I try to thrift most of my fabric and textiles, so part of my goals are to get things organized and inventoried. I like the planner because I do swatches of the fabric and burn tests (because thrifting) so I need to take notes etc. I may end up doing the 52 idea thing but write out 52 projects for my sewing space, which includes making things! But also organizing and reclaiming that space.
Thank you! I spent time this weekend organizing my fabric closet and I agree, it definitely counts! It was a workout! And I’ve been getting better at finding thrifted fabric but it’s still hard depending on where you go.
Try making the turtle neck sweater again in cotton knit…it will be more wearable. 52 projects is quite ambitious. Good luck!
Thanks for the tip!
I only plan one season at a time. And I use the free planner from mood fabrics. I go online and print the line drawings of garments that I want to make because I don’t want to draw them. I’ve been doing it this way for seven years (although I have taken a two-year break from Sewing recently).
nice! Thanks for watching Edina!
You are beautiful just the way you are…
Wow, thank you
Where can we get the planner from? Is mood fabric website? Thank you.
yes, the link is in the description box
