Fan Made Death Battle Trailer: Animal Kaiser VS Dinosaur King (Bandai Namco VS SEGA)

Nostalgia, it is one of the most powerful drugs that one can experience. And these 2 Japanese Arcade Games that shaped the childhood of many people have brought an absolutely powerful sense of it to many all across the globe. Starting as obscure Arcade Games published in Japan, as they made their way across the world their popularity skyrocketed. These games would continue their success, having extended media and thus continuing to make the wonderful childhoods of many people.
However as their popularity died down and they became forgotten, their spark did not. Their legacies continue to live on in the hearts of people who continue to love them even to this day.
But despite this, one thing remains unchanged between them, their rivalry that clashed for a while. Between this battle of 2 behemoths, which Japanese Arcade Game will truly come out on top as the True Ruler of the Past and Present?
Of course, again I have returned with a Death Battle Trailer. This time featuring a new matchup that I created myself, one that probably means the most to me and the series I represent as a whole. A rivalry between 2 series that just makes so much sense too. As the Past and the Present collide for this battle, only one will come out the victor.
And surprisingly, this matchup between 2 series not only brings some form of legacy, but also quite a decent chunk of connections too.
Connections:
Both are Japanese Arcade Games made in the late 2000s that utilise Physical Cards to be played inspired by their predecessor "Mushiking"
Both series generally focus on 3 types of cards that will be used for a battle (Animal Kaiser has the Animal, Strong and Miracle Cards while Dinosaur King has the Dinosaur, Move and Super Move Cards)
Both games have a focus on the Animals as the main stars of the game rather than human characters
Both have a simple gameplay style that relies on a somewhat luck turn based battle, but where a specific criteria has to be met in order for a fighter to attack (Animal Kaiser's battle style comes in the form of numbers where the one who rolls the highest number will attack, while Dinosaur King utilises a Rock Paper Scissors style gameplay where the winner gets to attack)
Both series are well known for being nonsensical fun, where the creatures that are fighting will perform over the top unrealistic moves that are extremely entertaining
Both would become extremely successful in their home country of Japan, and would branch out into other countries. There especially in the Southeast Asian countries they would grow even more in popularity
Eventually, both series would get even more material to promote their series thanks to their rising popularity (Animal Kaiser got 3 successors and a short Comic Series while Dinosaur King got an Anime)
However, as time went on, both series would finally run their course and lose their popularity. This would make them stop any production of machines or cards in their home country Japan, and now both series are extremely difficult to find with only few remaining in other foreign countries. (Especially in Southeast Asian countries like Indonesia)
Despite that, both series still have a somewhat small yet very loyal fanbase who continue to spread the word of their respective series, unwilling to let the bright light of their flame go out
Both series had one of the most ferocious rivalries during their early times in Singapore, considered as one of the more popular series within the country alongside Bakugan, Beyblade, Cardfight Vanguard and Future Card Buddyfight.
And eventually, these 2 series would eventually change the life of a young Singaporean boy, who continues to hold the legacy of one of them specifically. He eventually will learn more of the other and promises to spread the legacy that forever burns within his heart, one that holds his childhood dearly forever.
I don't make DB Trailers very often like I mentioned before, but this had to be an exception. I want this matchup to spread to not only maybe get a chance for it on the show, but to find a really good individual matchup for it. It will take a while, but let's see what we can do.
