But if i try to play any of them, it's just one quick "UI-OH" and there goes 80-100% of my healthbar as i fall from the ceiling. Like, this season single handedly made me wish for a perk that passively reduces fall damage (Rocket Boots just have too long of a cooldown and i am not mastering C4 techs or other fake-ledge-creation techs just to counter freakin Blitzcrank bugs ^^)
Hell yeah. Just about got 2000 hours in the original DRG. Gonna be awesome to have more goals to strive for and achievements to unlock. I'mma rock and stone my fingers to the bone for years to come.
I'm REALLY hyped for early access. I love rogue like/lite games, and this seems perfect. I really like the idea of 4 player FPS rogue like, I don't think there is any other game like this. So hyped!!!

I have to ask this question. Will there be any kind of Cosmetic interaction between the two games? Since we are looking at a new crew of dwarves, i can understand that not everything can be brought over, but perhaps some unlockables between the two?
Looking at Rogue Core, I had an idea for what could be added, and now I really want to see these additions in normal DRG. The mainframe of my idea: Make the current deep dives a selectable option for normal missions (Do these harder missions with cooldowns to get overclocks like before). Replace the deep dive station with a new game mode, an excavation mission of sorts. New mission idea: The new mission will send the dwarves down to a large excavation rig. The rig has four batteries and resource containers. These need to be defended at all costs, since when the containers are full, the dwarves need to prepare them and send them back to the space rig(s?). While this is happening, waves of enemies will attack the excavation rig to destroy it. New interactive elements: In this mission, the dwarves will be able to create ammo for sentry guns attached, but they can also interact with new companions for the dwarves, such as BET-C's that you could maybe build with resources found in the cave, as well as a heavier caliber BOSCO. These companions should probably be able to get killed by enemies, so they are not too overpowered. Overall, it's a way to have a boss of our own. The main idea of this game mode is to have a boss like the Caretaker, but in this case, it is fighting for our side, and we need to defend it so it does not get overtaken by enemies. Perhaps other companies will be the attackers sometimes to really add to the feeling that we are fighting each other for the same resources

The very purpose of an enemy is to anoy or make your life harder, sure there are some who are more anoying but that is what your guns are for, the more anoying the enemy, the faster you need to kill it
@@uneppai3330that isnt true, there are enemies that exist TO annoy like naed breeder, and there are normal enemies that are a menace and the whole point of using weapons (like glyphids or macteras) Which is the difference? Naed breeder is a high priority enemy that will spawn constantly swarms of enemies to make you lose ammo and hp While the normal enemies are well, normal enemies that are just a danger and thats it (yeah idk how to explain it at all) Because between a praetorian glyphid and a rockpox prateorian you may go first for the rockpox one, because ir can shoot that werid thing from his back, is tankier, and if you are too near it will cause you a rockpox peak that may down you because stun + damage + there is other enemies around
I see a small issue with the shared perks thing. Because if someone who likes shotguns gets paired with someone who likes snipers. There's gunna be a problem with one of them wanting close range perks and another wanting long range perks which will leave one or the other being disappointed each time if a perk that only benefits a particular playstyle is selected. And then if the person who did not get the perk upgrade keeps playing their style that has no perks, they might get scolded by the team for not using weapons that fit the perks.
26:54 Horror is odd with friends, but one of the big draws of DRG is the GSG's focus on making it playable for both solo and friends! So, I'm pretty sure those horror aspects will be much more appreciated in the right context.
I remember when I first got the Core Hunt assignment in DRG, I was disappointed that it wasn’t actually hunting for the core of Hoxxes. Now that will finally be realized! I also hyped for the new s5 story!
I hope you get some time to look around the caves, in the DRG Survivors game you were either forced to go to the drop pod, or lose so you would go out of your way to try and kill as little mobs as you can to mine all the Nitra and Gold to get the best gear for the boss
I would love if there were cross games rewards between rogue core and DRG, like play rogue core actively gives resources for DRG, that type of interactive experience would be so fun
Butterscotch Shennagians had an achievement system from Crashlands and below. You would do special or not special achievments that will unlock something in other games. Levelhead doesn't do this.

This sounds massively fun! I think the “like” option in the upgrade selections is absolutely genius! Being able to play DRG and effectively cooperate without voice chat I think really helps the game a ton. I love to see you guys thinking so critically on that across the development of this as well.
I'm sad that S5 will be delayed, but I have trust in you guys and hope you will achieve your goal with Rogue Core. I'm not a fan of rogue lites but Survivor seems really fun!
I am so happy for the devs, I can totally understand that working on the same game for 5 years is tiring, so it is really good to see the them excited about something new. And I totally believe that GSG plans to keep both games running, maybe in a slower rythm, but that's OK! And please make linked progression between games, at least account level, this would be so cool.
So these Reclaimers are more flexible dwarfs? That would make them elite in my eyes, seeing how the dwarfs in current DRG have classes, more specialized.

I'm excited for Rogue Core, my only worries are that it most likely won't be available on console for quite some time. I'm also worried that Ghost Ship games might be taking on more than they can chew, I absolutely love Deep Rock Galactic, and I do want to see more in the DRG universe, but I don't want them making Rouge Core to mean we get less content for Deep Rock Galactic.
I'm really late to the party wirh DRG, but I finally bought the original last month for my birthday. Even as just a solo player, I am OBSESSED with this game. I appreciate your guys' work a lot! I came across DRG in mid season 3, and I've bought almost every dlc pack, as well as the game (even though I had it on game pass). You guys deserve it. Plenty of games make me laugh or make me feel good, none of those games stress me out as much as DRG. Love it. I'm wondering a lot about the shift away from hoarding tons of different kinds of shiny rocks tho. It was always an appealing factor
I really wish this was just an additional mode or mission type in DRG. DRG is 6 years old, which is old as far as games go now that they’re all disposable and everything is so flavor-of-the-month, but it’s still pretty much a perfect product. Why ignore it and atomize your development team like this?
Suggestion for deep rock: A game mode with base building and respite within it. age of empires or fortnite like mechanics, choose to use some minerals to upgrade sections of it to make your mission easier or save for your mission return. Once in the base u are safe to dance and drink. And can embark on afew diferent missions from the base With your crew. Then return with recorces to develope upgrades To base to defend it from hordes. Quarantine room for those infected with rock pox. Play capture the flag with rival teams base. Rogue lite with mini-rpg elements across each play through would be fun. much like the chest with jetty boots were great and would be better if there were afew chests eatch load out that only one player gets for that playthrough. So there is a competitive element within the team. Rock and stone brother! Imagine making a base on a super dooper deep dive then questing off from it as half the crew to kill a dreadnaught while the other half of the crew mine rescorces to buid q drilldoser and begin a mission with that. U fall off the beaten path and find a chest that gives u jetty boots or u reverse engeneer them and make a new gun for that play through. When u catch up to your crewmate he is infected with rockpox so u must seperate and go this mission alone. This is rouge like with rpg like questing and character upgrades. All in one single trip to the trecherous planet. Then u return and try again with different variables. Rock and stone guys. If u do something like that. I will gladly pay the 100 dollars u deserved from the base game. Someone like this post if u agree
More suggestion: The engeneer can build stuff like drilldoser once the crew mine minerals and build the laboritory. The scout can locate and traverse other bases flags or specifc minerals the base can't further build without. The driller can....Drill...a hole for this emergency base to be in. The gunner can use equipment once built like turrets to protect the pop up base and keep it safe from hordes Someone like this post if u agree

There are very few games that i ever actually look forward to. One of those is Billie Bust up, and now the only other is rogue core. I love roguelite/like games, with one of my favorite games ever being ror2, right next to drg. So to me, this is like combining 2 of my favorite games ever. I tip my hat to you, Ghost ship. I have a good idea for rogue core. You could put yellow barrels outside of the structures that you kick at the bugs and they blow up!

DRG is 6 years old, which is old as far as games go now that they’re all disposable and everything is so flavor-of-the-month, but it’s still pretty much a perfect product. Why ignore it and atomize your development team like this?
Because people still love drg, and it won't die anytime soon with all the new stuff coming up.

Its exciting to see the DRG universe expand into other gaming genres, im there for it if the quality is consistent.
I’d like to let you and the team know that I cannot verbally express how much I appreciate l the game (DRG) your team put out. It is quite literally the experience that’s been promised over and over again by larger companies that fail to deliver on the promises.

I'm excited for this. I'm not really sure what they mean by the core being rogue but I'm still looking into it! If they need our help then so be it! ROCK AND STONE TO THE BONE! Plus: I've got Deep Rock Galactic on my PC through Xbox Game Pass.

There are very few games that i ever actually look forward to. One of those is Billie Bust up, and now the only other is rogue core. I love roguelite/like games, with one of my favorite games ever being ror2, right next to drg. So to me, this is like combining 2 of my favorite games ever. I tip my hat to you, Ghost ship. Keep up the good work.
