- In the latest episode of The Midweek Deep Dive, Dave from Fevs Football Analytics joins Ben and I as we dig deep into the data to dissect The Lions early form, and draw out conclusions on whether the stats back up in the eye test to answer some questions:
- How do we stack up against last season?
- Should we have more points?
- Have we evolved our playing style?
- If so, how?
and many more, we loved doing this show - we hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for having me on guys, really enjoyed chatting about Millwall’s start to the season with both of you. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Really good show and insightful stats! Never knew a stat show could give me a little twinge down below 👀😂
Fabulous data and analysis- in someways, mind blowing info
This is brilliant, thanks lads. Chris 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I think you can see, even from the highlights, that we are no longer hitting and hoping. The movement and interchange has vastly improved.
Stat's are a great way to translate what we think is happening on the pitch.
another great show guys.
And thanks to Fev for everything he brings to the table.
Fabulous really enjoyed this
Really interesting show. Well done lads.
I'm gonna put it out there.
Shots and touches in the area
No fleming - we look like a team with 11 men on the pitch instead of 10. Fleming far too laboured. Honeyman doing it for me in the 10. Busy in the right areas, opens up spaces. Makes good runs and surprisingly brings players into play in the area.
Just my observation.
Our style is now to pass the ball forward, rather than a direct, over the top style or a possession based style.
We will lose the ball often, but we will create more dangerous situations this way🦁
Thanks to the chaps & Data Dave for the show
What happens when Honeyman gets injured?
