And I believe it was to show him that not a lot of people have what he has. Rich and poor stuff or something. And he would die of hypothermia/frostbite

He would eventually succumb to his injuries and hypothermia. Sorry for the long read, not sure if this is right or not, but here ya go, how the smart apathetic boi would've been executed.
