I get back here again and again! Driving to work, break, driving home, coming home and so on.. This is a very special kind of song, it speaks to one without using words
This song is just beautiful I remember watching stampy play it and finding so much joy in it as a toddler as well as it being a touching story of love grief and hope and the red thread makes me remember those happy days of my life the kind that you cherish forever
I was falling asleep to my gaming soundtrack playlist on spotify and woke up to this... Instantly had to play this game and didn't regret.. so beautiful!
If you have not played unravel I highly recommend you do. The game is easily the best things I've ever seen or played and deserves a lot more love. Pls stop praising a game that has absolutely nothing to do with unravel and just play the game. It's not that expensive and is one of the best experiences I have ever had.
I have played both unravel games And I support this dude saying that you should play it, both unravel and unravel 2 made me cry waterfalls this game is definitely worth it in the end.
Love forms bonds between us, but not to hold us back. They're meant to save us if we fall, or help us all climb higher. Yes, things break beyond repair sometimes, but we can always build anew. If our fire ever fades, it just takes a single spark to set it off again. No matter how dark things get, we can all help light the way. We can make this life beautiful, for ourselves and for each other. And we all deserve to be here, whatever shape or colour we come in.
Just found this via spotify and man it hits hard, there is something in this song so beautiful and sad at the same time. Perfect..... that vocals near the end.... ♪♫♪♫♪♪♪
@@Songs_of_Sam The lead developer mentioned that in Swedish, there's a word "Vemod", which carries the idea of a sort of 'beautiful melancholy'. For me, that's exactly what this song is.
Владимир Марковић I'm pretty you just watched a streamer play "Get Over It" while listening to this song. I don't think one game would just let another take their song.
I honestly have trouble listening to any of these songs. They're so good, but the winter level with the "ending" DESTROYED me. I am a crier, but I have not outright sobbed like that for a while. I still haven't finished any Unravel let's plays on TH-cam because of that.
This game not my childhood but others too, I just love this game because now the story reminds me if my grandmother passing growing being the theme of this game
I cant stop hearing the lyrics to Red is the Rose every time I hear the few notes of the melody. Edit: tried singing it to this melody. Theres a couple of weird pauses to get the lines to match up, but it actually isnt a half-bad mashup.
I imagine this song I am in a Swedish or Norwegian country or rather Nordic in the snow with almost 70 and with my partner and that song of fundo and having children making their lives very sad but I like and I am from Chile
You have to be at least 25 years old to appreciate the game and its idea. The ending + this music + the text from the developers made me cry like a baby. Just remembering it gives me chills.
so, my life since november 2019 has been wired, the first 4 months (nov. dec. jan. feb.) were great, some of the best months of my life, because I had a lot of friends, I went to hang out with them and it seriously was the best time of my life, then covid came, it fucked it all up, my friends stoped taking to me for literally no reason, and replaced me with another guy that they ended up hating, I was almost completely alone for 4 months, until my mom led me hang out with 4 of them, and it has been the best day of quarantine wet, we had so much fun, that was in july, now we talk more often and play more games. this song makes me go back to the good old moments, when there was no covid and we could just go outside and see each other, it’s been a year since November, and this has been such a different month, I’ve made new friends and some of my old friends are alone by themselves, but everything’s good, i guess
@@humanoidweapon6260 A really hard game(basically) i actually came here 1-2 years after the game(unravel) but as i read, a speedrunner used this song as background music so there is a lot of People coming there :)
this song is amongst the ones that never gets old. Even after decades listening to it, it'd surely make people cry out of awesomeness
Never heard of or played this game but this soundtrack i agree has moved me. Such a beautiful sound produced
I cried at the end of this game. Now I'm crying again. Sometimes, the simplest things can be the most beautiful.
I get back here again and again! Driving to work, break, driving home, coming home and so on..
This is a very special kind of song, it speaks to one without using words
agreed. I wish others could put so much emotion and majesty into music. Its just so tranquil.
Beautiful words 👏🏻
Unravel is still one of my favourite games, even to this day
This song is just beautiful I remember watching stampy play it and finding so much joy in it as a toddler as well as it being a touching story of love grief and hope and the red thread makes me remember those happy days of my life the kind that you cherish forever
The ending of this game is the closest I've ever come to crying while playing a video game.
Have you played doom the endining is sad
I meant ending
Same I'm pretty tuned out to death in video games and media but something about the music and the tone just made it so heartbreaking
I shed a tear at the end of this game as well. A very fitting end for a story about love, family and growing up.
The end of Everyone's gone to the rapture always makes me tear up a bit. That's why I don't play it to often
Oh man music is powerful. The way sounds can make a human feel inside without any words spoken
All games should have soundtracks as beautiful. Should be a major priority.
its definitely makes up a good 40% of a game's emotion and storytelling
It reminds me of all assassins creed games together somehow
try NieR:Automata soundtracks
AV4L0N Z3R0 yeah I have, absolutely amazing.
sounds like Grizzly Hills in World of Warcraft
This song has gotten we past so many obstacles, and it’s by far one of the best games I have ever had the honor of playing
I can write multiple chapters in my book while listening to this masterpiece.
What's your book about?
Everybody here is talking about ‘getting over it’ and I’m like, bro I just found this on Spotify
Ditto.
Same, I was randomly recommended this on Spotify a while ago and have loved it ever since. It's some really amazing music!
I was falling asleep to my gaming soundtrack playlist on spotify and woke up to this... Instantly had to play this game and didn't regret.. so beautiful!
exactly
This song WILL play at my funeral
It does have that kind of tone that says don't be sad that I'm gone just cherish the memories of the time we had together
@@jb6725 As does the game :)
or Unraveling since it plays at the funeral in the game
This would be the perfect end credits of a really good show

Did anyone legitimately play Unravel and not just come from that dumb getting over it speedrun that got a ridiculous amount of views?
i didnt play unravel because its not on steam and i dont even know whats getting over it
I knew it was from unravel because I saw JSE's playthrough. And from there I discovered the music.

here i am, i played the game 4 yeas ago and this music still give me amazing feelings

Playing the game it's just Frusterating A good thing about the game is this is sound is making it chill no more frusterating
I really want the sheet music to this so that I can learn to play some of it on piano. It sounds easy to play, but difficult to play with meaning.

Im in love woth this song. Is it violin?
They way that it jolts the note every bow stroke makes me think its a Nyckelharpa
No its not violin, its "Nyckelharpa" Scadinavian music stuff, it used for viking folk music.
What instruments are played in this? :0
it justs reminds me off an strange version of The Living Mice
This should be the theme song to brave heart 2 haha
