Your wife is a very special person. Your family support really makes me want to watch your videos as there really is a message in it. I think any family as great as yours could conquer anything. Keep up the good work and thank you for all the compassion you have for the families of the lost and missing.
that bag you pulled out in the first bit is the bag for the removable sunroof. They're worth pretty good coin if its in good shape. I've parted out several of this generation rx7 so if you need any pointers, let me know!
I love the old cars you pull out! It would be so cool if one day someone decided to collaborate with you and volunteered to restore or at least somewhat restore one! It would be cool to see one of the older cars, whatever one is in best condition, at least superficially restored one day! Just a thought!😊🚘
Be sure to save those back quarter windows, the steering wheel and horn cover, and that beautiful mint condition blue air cleaner! Those will definitely sell and are worth keeping! I should know, its how I make my living, "buying and selling car parts". Also check the condition of the pop up headlights, if they are warped and are too rough to save, then don't. But seriously, those other parts are well worth keeping and selling or donating. The jack restoration I can't wait to see! lol
As a owner of a red 1979 Rx7 this video makes me laugh and cry 😂 I'd have tried to pull out the engine and make a video of trying to strip the block down you'd be surprised if the rotary housings, eshaft were still in good condition and what a story behind them make cool ornaments . I was sad that no one wanted the Rx7 emblem when you pulled her out of the river haha thinking I'd take her heaps of parts
Jared, I watched all 45 min of the video. I did not see one part of that car that I could have used on my RUST FREE Rx7! Wow, what a mess! Say hello to the fam for me, see ya soon! Take care and stay out of trouble!😎
Yikes looks like a Bad car day... 1.The gagging part... Always water a mask before doing the car inside, but I know that Mr Leisek know it... But just saying 2. Funny part ever is "Careful is my middle name" 🤣 Love it...
Get a lens protection filter for the camera. With one of those on, if you have sparks hitting it again or any other damaging stuff, it'll be the relatively cheap filter that gets damaged instead of the multiple-hundred-dollar lens. Pro tip from a photographer.
I love watching you do this. Your wife is a saint to let you do this. Not to mention your next door neighbor. Please continue this series. I cannot wait to see it "completed." Thank you for sharing :-)
Thanks for your support and glad you enjoy our videos! I don't know how my wife puts up with the things that I do, but I'm lucky to have her and her support😁
She's a gem!!!! You are lucky to have such a beautiful and intelligent daughter!!! Let her know that you appreciate her! We (your viewer's) appreciate her!
What you said about holes in the floor is no joke. We bought a Renault in the 1980s and the first time we were out in the rain, the rear foot well filled with water. Fortunately, the kids were young and their feet didn't reach the floor. Rotten trick to play on a young family though.. Am playing catch up with your earlier videos.
"Detail', "dismantle",......... same thing, right?? I am so glad that I threw that license plate back into the car. It just keeps showing up over and over again!! GREAT video!!
Ya it was a total game changer when you got the brushes out and scoured the inside turned that car into a real cream puff one owner only driven on sundays to church and took grandma to the beauty shop!!!!!!!
Im 15 years old and fr fr this is my dream car from a long time and I see this and I get motivation to work and buy one 💯 I know I can make it, thanks for this type of video I really appreciate it, and if you want to sell it let me know🤣
I can't believe how solid this car is! Usually when you pull up a unibody car they fall apart from all the rust. But this car is rock solid still! Well mostly 😆
Those speakers are good to keep around. You can take them apart and use the magnets to hold screws when you take other things apart. I have multiple in my desk right now
Ohh my god I laughed out so loud on the second door and you sawing it and then the lock popping up and you going ohhhh.... pulled it up and the door pops open lol
Despite the gagging it looks like mother nature has preserved a good deal of the whole car with no really big rust holes seems it was built to last. Looking forward to the next episode, stay safe all of you and God bless.
That HAS to stink. Is it ripe in there, Jared? Nice job buddy. Here I thought starting my garden was exciting to do during lock-down. Now I'm starting to look sideways at my old Tahoe...🌊💩🛠💣
it is too far gone. it would definitely be cool to see if the engine could be made to run again instead of chopping it up to make coins but i know i wouldn't hold my breath. 30 years sitting underwater is a pretty long time. it would make extremely cool content to start a engine that sat under water for 30 years lol
Well I have seen cars with worse floor boards get restored to perfection. Of course non that I know of have been restored or cleaned even. I salute you my good man.
That was good advice about checking for holes in the subfloor. My first car was holier than the Pope, and I didn't know to look under the floor boards.
The bigstackD Casting channel is all about melting metals in a furnace and casting stuff. Maybe you can get info there. I hope you can go back in the water soon. Greetings from the Netherlands!
As I was watching a few more of your older video's I came up with a question. When you cut up this car cut the catalytic converter off and see if it is deteriorating and polluting the waters as well.
There's a chance the four rims and spare wheel (not tyres) could all be saved, sold as a set and refurbished by someone, you could potentially get $200+ for them alone, so personally I wouldn't break up those to melt!

Thanks for entertaining me while I do my Mother’s Day meal prep!! Can’t wait to see the next installments of this and the search for the bridesmaid!
Oh and tell your wife any money spent on tools is a good investment!! :). (Followed by my best Tim Allen Tool time gunt)

She is a pillar of support! been married almost 30 years , you got a keeper like me!

It’s pretty interesting to watch how you break the car down and see all the different ways you think and succeed in getting something off the car.
Every car out of the river - untold environmental damage prevented. THANK YOU.
Kierra, you are the ⭐
I can't believe you got me hooked on your videos. They are awesome thank you. Later later.
Glad you're enjoying our videos!😁👍
Every car detailing video title: muddiest/dirtiest car ever
This mazda: hold my river water
If you want to take it apart and you don't want to use wrenches and sockets then simply use a cutting torch. They work great!!!

UV filter
or a longer lens and place the camera way further back, but a cheap uv filter is the easiest
Hi from Australia been following u for a while really like what u are doing for the environment keep up the good work

My son said don’t melt this car, he wants to restore it and make it work (he’s five)
Sounds like your son would fit right into the classic car communities.
hahahahaha restoration goals....
Sadly, this cars structure is far to compromised to ever be safe enough to be restored.
thats cute
Bry Ytab might be posibel
I am so über impressed how well this RX-7 held up beeing so long under water.
9 minute mark is epic! I love you and this channel!
Its good to hear Kiara back again, i enjoy the commentary she puts in with you on these video's. Keep the great video's coming.
Thank you! I'm glad to have her back filming for me😁
She's a gem!!!! You are lucky to have such a beautiful and intelligent daughter!!! Let her know that you appreciate her! We (your viewer's) appreciate her!
Amazing. Messy. Rewarding I’m sure. Loving this serious
Makes you wonder if the person who put it down there is watching saying they never thought they would see it again lol
Or his insurance company

Very satisfying video 😁😁
Thank you! From Kiki the camera girl:)

Brilliant work thanks for the content
well that was kind of interesting! disclaimer I am not responsible anywho love ALL your vids!
A lot of it is in amazing good shape... good Mazda commercial.
"If we sink 83k into this car and make it mint, we could sell it for 4k"
That sums up every project car. lol
Im 15 years old and fr fr this is my dream car from a long time and I see this and I get motivation to work and buy one 💯 I know I can make it, thanks for this type of video I really appreciate it, and if you want to sell it let me know🤣
The coin is a cool idea. Melt it down! I'd see if people would buy the air cleaner. That looked mint. :P
I can't believe how solid this car is! Usually when you pull up a unibody car they fall apart from all the rust. But this car is rock solid still! Well mostly 😆
Such a shame, I had two of these. Fun driving little sports cars. That car was only two years old when it went into the water.
this is crazy, props to you guys for all this commitment tho
I have subscribed to your channel and I love all your videos to love these adventures
Welcome aboard!
Better than new
Amazing project.
Good idea restoring Mazda rx - 7

There are people cringing all across the world right now. Watching you dissect that car. RIP RX7
LOL... you've not seen anything yet. Wait until next weeks video. 😬🤣
@@AdventuresWithPurpose I can only imagine 😝

Great job so far!!! I think that Autoshine Cars here in the UK may struggle with that interior!
That’s like trying to polish a turd. I take my hat off to your dedication.
Next time try, Nu Vynil! No rubbing no buffing. For that show room look and feel 😆
It is awesome videos and so is your family
Going good jared but i think that car has seen better days 😂 will be cool when you start making the coins that will be fun 👍
Well it has been underwater for over 30 years😂 Hoping to start working on the coins within the next couple of days👍
That HAS to stink. Is it ripe in there, Jared? Nice job buddy. Here I thought starting my garden was exciting to do during lock-down. Now I'm starting to look sideways at my old Tahoe...🌊💩🛠💣
HAHA I knew it! I guess I should watch before I comment...
😂😅
Looks factory fresh now 👌
Yes the video we all have been looking forward to. . .
Dislike is from the guy that dumped the car in the river in the first place!
Plz make it beautiful again and SHOW HIM HOW ITS DONE!!!
lol no it's too ruined to restore.
it is too far gone. it would definitely be cool to see if the engine could be made to run again instead of chopping it up to make coins but i know i wouldn't hold my breath. 30 years sitting underwater is a pretty long time. it would make extremely cool content to start a engine that sat under water for 30 years lol
unfortunately the structural rigidity of that rx7 is trashed
What the best thing you have ever found in a car.
Well I have seen cars with worse floor boards get restored to perfection. Of course non that I know of have been restored or cleaned even. I salute you my good man.
16:53 that's the goonies KEY!!!
You should try to get all of the unbroken glass and put it on eBay . It could bring you some decent cha ching. One can only hope.
Live auction in 9 days
Yup they go from 50 dollars to 150 dollars so hey good luck at your auction.
Fun Video!
Is that a pair of the sunglasses that you found underwater they look pretty cool on you
Jared, I love your comments during the video. I think there is a great future for you in the used car sales area. "P
Thanks😂
You finally put on PPE.
That was good advice about checking for holes in the subfloor. My first car was holier than the Pope, and I didn't know to look under the floor boards.
Another great video as always Jared!
Crazy how clean is the filter cover
Fantastic video as always I was just thinking considering it’s been underwater for 36+ years it’s in really good shape
Thanks for your support!
Should of used some WD-40 on the door latch 😂
Btw those rear corner windows are worth alot of $$.
Even them floor mats were worth a fortune
Every car guy is just in pain watching this
I love this and I believe you have a very understanding wife and a very great daughter.
Way too much work .. but your having fun at home 👍
its tough seeing parts you need, and know they are totalled. sad, yet very satisfying
Come on Keara dig in.

Would love to see the inside of this car’s engine. Btw this video has me wanting an RX7 this gen lol
Who else wants to know the mileage one the car? Like if you do
next weeks episode
My guess is less then 60,000
I'm really enjoying this series! By the way, did you ever get the rest of that 1967 Thunderbird? I'm still interested in those arm rests!
As I was watching a few more of your older video's I came up with a question.
When you cut up this car cut the catalytic converter off and see if it is deteriorating and polluting the waters as well.
Look for copper in the wires. Would love to see one of the detailers accept challenge. Great demo!
Such a beatiful car 😭 destroyed
this is great.
Please wipe the inside and outside of the rear windows to make them crystal clear.
Great content as always
There's a chance the four rims and spare wheel (not tyres) could all be saved, sold as a set and refurbished by someone, you could potentially get $200+ for them alone, so personally I wouldn't break up those to melt!
I need the rear side hatch glasses ! Lol
Very entertaining
Thanks!
I missed Star Trek Enterprise rerun for this❓😁👍✌
A piece of a Padel was in there?
Maby they wanted to use the car as a boat 👀😂
It's a little sad you can't be out in the water. You'd be wearing a mask and you'd be one of the most extreme socially distanced people on the planet.
And the people who rescue people in distress?
I suspect the issue is the trip to the dive shop to get oxygen tanks filled etc.
Interesting show.
A pic of what this looked like new would a great.
You should really think about opening a detail shop! Lol
