- In celebration of Return Of The Jedi's 40th Anniversary, thought I'd modernize this scene. Not a lot of people do re-sounds of star battles so I figured I take a crack at it.
Awesome work!! Sound can really change how you view scenes from a movie and it feels more epic with your sound design, keep it up!!

Awesome. There's so much here. Sound work is EVERYTHING in film. A few sounds I can appreciate is the faint WHOSH sounds at :38 and :45 when the Falcon and X Wing fly pass part of the super structure. The new metalac clang as the TIE bounces off of the pipes. I love the more muted laser fire sounds when being heard from inside the TIE Fighter and Star Destroyer. That seems more realistic. The faint explosion of the Star Destroyer in the background at 1:25. The new sound of the Falcons torpedoes. The A Wing's engines before impact. You can hear all of this with really good headphones.

Much better, Star Wars always was missing this, to have better deep sounds mostly with explosions. We all know you cannot hear anything in space, but for the sake of the movie, if sound was like this, it would have made a big difference, specially in the movie theaters. I was hoping something like this would have been done when George Lucas remastered the original movies and they were presented again in theaters, it was a big disappointment to see much better effects but the sound remaining basically the same.
